The Job
Owing to a maternity leave, we are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accounts Payable accountant to join our team for a 12 month fixed contract.
The AP Accountant will be responsible for processing invoices in accordance with local regulations, IFRS, and the Group's internal framework.
The successful candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
Your Experience
Must have:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field
- 1+ years' experience in accounting, with a focus on accounts payable processes
- Proficiency in English with strong communication skills
- Experience with global accounting ERPs. Experience with NetSuite and any expense management tool is an advantage
- Proactive mindset with a willingness to develop

- Experience in an international business environment
- Experience working in a tech or software company
What you'll be doing
You'll be responsible to:
- Accounts Payable Operations: Support day-to-day accounts payable operations, ensuring smooth processing and management of transactions.
- Invoice Processing: manage the entire invoice lifecycle, from receipt and data entry to coding, approval, and payment processing. Verify invoice accuracy against purchase orders. Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and tax regulations.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal departments (procurement, business owners, etc.) and external vendors to resolve invoice discrepancies, payment inquiries (including managing banking account changes across all suppliers), and other AP-related issues.
- Compliance and Best Practices: Work with the team to ensure compliance with policies and continuously refine best practices.
- Continuous Improvement: Participate in the development of a culture focused on continuous improvement.
- Support the financial month-end and year-end closing process by ensuring all invoices are accurately recorded and accounted for in the appropriate period.

Salary Range - gross per month
€2.481 - €4.100 EUR
