The job

We're looking for a Delivery Manager (PlatformOps Manager) to lead our Monetization Content Delivery team. Your main objective is to help us smoothly deliver content to the Flo app, ensuring content reaches the right audience safely, efficiently and with high quality. You'll own the team's delivery, people management and engineering excellence while partnering closely with Product and Engineering to build the systems that power personalized content experiences for millions of users daily

What you'll be doing:

Delivery & Execution

  • Own the team's delivery cadence: sprint planning, retrospectives, estimations and backlog health
  • Ensure the team consistently hits sprint goals by removing blockers, clarifying scope and managing dependencies
  • Partner with Product Managers to break down product requests into well-scoped tasks

Engineering Quality & Process

  • Champion engineering standards across the team, proactively managing tech debt and quality
  • Drive iterative improvements to team workflows, tooling and processes
  • Guide the team in owning their domains end-to-end, including incident response

People Leadership

  • Mentor and coach engineers through regular 1:1s, feedback and pairing
  • Run performance reviews and compensation decisions for your team
  • Delegate meaningfully, giving engineers ownership of initiatives and room to grow
  • Build a collaborative culture that values transparency, healthy debate and diverse perspectives

Technical Guidance

  • Provide technical direction within the team’s domain, aligned with broader technical strategy
  • Contribute to technical discussions with a focus on pragmatic implementation and maintainability
  • Encourage forward-looking technical thinking through workshops, spikes and prototypes

Your Experience:

  • Experience leading an engineering team in a delivery-focused environment, balancing execution with long-term quality
  • Proven ability to partner effectively with Product to define scope, prioritize work and drive predictable delivery
  • Track record of improving team processes and engineering practices in a practical, measurable way
  • Experience coaching engineers at different levels and supporting their growth through feedback and goal-setting
  • Comfortable providing technical direction within a domain
  • Experience working with production systems and supporting incident handling/service ownership practices

Must have:

  • A background in software engineering
  • 3+ years of engineering/delivery management experience leading a software development team
  • People management experience: regular 1:1s, coaching, feedback, performance reviews and compensation input/ownership
  • Strong ownership of Agile delivery execution: planning, estimation, retrospectives, sprint goal delivery, backlog hygiene
  • Ability to translate product requests into executable technical plans, ensuring clarity of scope and dependencies
  • Strong engineering mindset around quality, maintainability and pragmatic tech debt management
  • Excellent stakeholder communication: clear status, transparent risks and proactive escalation when needed
  • Experience fostering a healthy team culture: psychological safety, accountability and constructive collaboration
  • Working knowledge of operating services in production, including incident handling and post-incident learning

Nice to have:

  • Experience driving improvements in internal tooling, developer experience or CI/CD workflows
  • Experience facilitating cross-team dependency management and delivery planning across multiple stakeholders
  • Familiarity with reliability practices (observability, on-call health, SLIs/SLOs)
  • Experience supporting technical discussions and incremental modernization within a domain
  • Experience hiring and building teams (interviewing, onboarding, team composition planning)

Competitive salary starting at €6,500 gross/month.

We support impact with meaningful reward. Here’s what that looks like:

  • Competitive salary and annual reviews
  • Opportunity to participate in Flo’s performance incentive scheme
  • Paid holiday, sick leave, and female health leave
  • Enhanced parental leave and pay for maternity, paternity, same-sex and adoptive parents
  • Accelerated professional growth through world-changing work and learning support
  • In-person collaboration and work in a hybrid model, with 3 days per week spent in the office
  • 5-week fully paid sabbatical at 5-year Floversary
  • Flo Premium for friends & family, plus more health, pension and wellbeing perks
