The job

The People Operations Specialist ensures smooth and compliant employee lifecycle processes across Flo. Acting as a subject matter expert in Lithuania and other Flo locations, this role delivers exceptional operational support and contributes to employee experience, engagement, systems management, and continuous process improvement. 

Responsibilities/tasks

  • Act as the primary People Operations contact for the whole employee lifecycle: manage onboarding, offboarding, benefits, pension, leaves, payroll inputs, and policy adherence.
  • Ensure full compliance with employment legislation, working closely with Legal and HR Business Partnering teams to update and implement local documents and global policies.
  • Handle employee lifecycle information in SODRA and BSS (local payroll system).
  • Maintain and optimise employee data integrity in HRIS HiBob and other systems, provide analytics, dashboards and reports from the systems to the stakeholders to empower decision-making.
  • Facilitate timely work permit prolongation for expat employees in Lithuania, as well as initiate new job permits/change of employer procedures for new joiners.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, Legal, Compliance, IT) to deliver integrated workflows and streamlined operations.
  • Analyse, simplify, and automate workflows using AI and other tech tools (Google spreadsheets, App Script, Zapier, etc).
  • Manage employee queries and learning requests via JIRA, ensuring timely and high-quality resolutions.
  • Be the Flo culture ambassador, live and breathe Flo values and assist others to immerse into Flo ways of working from their early days in the company. 
  • Contribute and organise events to boost employee engagement.

Key results/objectives

  • Timely and compliant execution of PeopleOps processes and documentation.
  • Consistent, high-quality support to employees and managers with exceptional service.
  • Safeguarding reliability of people data, and providing analytics to empower decision-making.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 2+ years in People Operations or HR Shared Services/ HR Generalist, preferably in a fast-scaling international company.
  • Working knowledge of Lithuanian legislation and employment law.
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
  • High attention to detail and operational excellence focus.
  • Ability to work autonomously, spot and solve problems in a fast-paced environment.
  • Growth mindset and focus on continuous learning.
  • Proficient with HRIS systems (e.g., HiBob), dashboards, and Google Sheets/Excel.
  • Strong communication skills and fluent in English.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Economics/ Statistics/ Employment law degree
  • Experience working in a tech or high-growth international company.
  • Experience supporting multicultural and remote teams.
  • Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills, with experience using dashboards and people analytics tools.

Salary range between 2600 - 3200 EUR
