The job

The People Operations Partner plays a key role in delivering seamless and compliant people processes that support employee experience and operational scale. Acting as a subject matter expert in Lithuania and contributing to other Flo locations, this role covers everything from onboarding to data systems, policy implementation, and social events. It ensures that Flo’s workforce operates with clarity, engagement, support, and efficiency - enabling teams to do their best work.

Responsibilities/tasks

  • Act as the primary People Operations contact for the whole employee lifecycle: manage onboarding, offboarding, benefits, leaves, payroll inputs, and policy adherence.
  • Ensure compliance with local employment laws, EU directives, and internal People policies, collaborating with Legal and HR Business Partnering teams where necessary.
  • Participate in the performance and reward cycles through administering data flows, analyzing the data, and performing salary changes and remuneration-related operations for relevant populations. 
  • Analyse, simplify, and automate workflows using AI and other tech tools (Google spreadsheets, App Script, Zapier, etc).
  • Lead cross-functional process improvement initiatives aimed at reducing manual touchpoints and optimising the employee lifecycle through automation and system enhancements.
  • Operate, maintain and optimise HRIS (HiBob) for data accuracy, workflows, and analytics reporting. 
  • Handle employee lifecycle information in SODRA and BSS (local payroll system).
  • Handle low-risk & first-line employment relations cases.
  • Facilitate timely work permit prolongation for expat employees in Lithuania, as well as initiate new job permits/change of employer procedures for new joiners.
  • Be the Flo culture ambassador, live and breathe Flo values and assist others to immerse into Flo ways of working from their early days in the company. 
  • Contribute and organise events to boost employee engagement.

Key Results/objectives

  • All employee lifecycle processes delivered accurately on time, and in compliance with local laws and Flo policies.
  • Work with data, build people analytics that enable strategic planning, bring initiatives of improvements based on the analysis, and implement them.
  • Focus on proactive analysis of employee experience and P&T team processes to spot areas for improvement and act on them.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years in People Operations or HR Shared Services/ HR Generalist, preferably in a fast-scaling international company.
  • Strong understanding of employment law and working knowledge of Lithuanian legislation.
  • Proven ability to operate independently with complex employee lifecycle processes.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and customer service mindset across all levels of the organisation.
  • High attention to detail and a growth mindset, targeted at process improvements and constant learning.
  • Proficient with HRIS systems (e.g., HiBob), dashboards, and Google Sheets/Excel.
  • Fluent in English and Lithuanian.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Economics/ Statistics/ International Business degree, or equivalent
  • Experience working in international or multicultural teams in a tech or high-growth international company.
  • Familiarity with AI tools in the HR space or internal automation platforms (e.g., App Script, Zapier)

The salary range for this role is from €3,200 per month. We remain open to discussion depending on your experience, expertise, and overall fit for the role.
