ABOUT FLOODBASE

Floodbase is changing the way businesses and communities adapt to increasing risk of climate change impacts from flooding. Last year, we launched a solution enabling re/insurers and public sector organizations to profitably design, underwrite, and monitor parametric flood insurance products, extending coverage to historically uninsurable locations and risks. Built on nearly a decade of industry-leading and peer-reviewed science, our proprietary solution continuously monitors flooding globally. Floodbase is backed by investors like Lowercarbon Capital, Collaborative Fund, and Floating Point, and trusted by NASA, The UN, Google, FEMA, and more.

  • Set the parametric commercial strategy, including product pricing and distribution channel design
  • Identify new commercial growth opportunities within parametric insurance
  • Serve as the voice of the market for internal strategy  — influencing product development, technology, marketing, and customer success

Who you are:

  • 7+ years with the insurance industry as a broker or doing business development/sales through brokers as an insurer
  • Proven ability to close large, complex deals and exceed sales targets
  • A network of US brokers, agents, and other key relationships
  • Tenacious and able to provide clear examples of showing perseverance in leading internal and external stakeholders through a complex sales lifecycle
  • Committed to solving the climate crisis through practical and scalable means
  • Bonus: US brokers E&S license (active or renewable)
  • Bonus: experience placing parametric products

Why Join Floodbase:

  • Join a company solving one of the most urgent problems of our time: flood risk in a changing climate

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
