About You

The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, data-driven B2B and/or B2B2C marketer with experience in email marketing. You have an in-depth knowledge of email systems, preferably Hubspot, and love to send great emails. You think about how to improve email performance from segmentation and messaging to deliverability and everything in between. You’re a holistic thinker who understands the businesses you’re marketing to and the audience you’re trying to reach. You care about email quality and think about engagement and conversion, and are always looking for new things to try. You love data and are obsessed with numbers. You enjoy partnering with product line marketers to collaborate on creative, messaging, and promotions to make every campaign the best it can be. You are comfortable working with BI/reporting tools and data teams to share quality, actionable reporting. Working with design and content teams, you can shepherd an email from concept to completion. Your analytical and technical skills allow you to be largely self-sufficient in generating lists and managing email platforms.

About the Role

Reporting to the Head of Marketing Analytics, this role works closely with marketing, sales, legal, data, design, and product to create, test, send and report on email marketing campaigns across product lines. In this role, you will own the Flourish email marketing channel from concept to results with an emphasis on segmentation, testing, and optimization. You should be comfortable working with product line marketers to set strategy and share results with thoughtful recommendations. You will own the email marketing tech stack and be responsible for sending the right emails to the right target audiences, including technical troubleshooting, QA, and field mapping for dynamic content.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Manage outbound email marketing campaigns, both organic and paid
  • Own the email marketing tech stack, including product evaluation, selection, and ongoing management
  • Manage a regular reporting cadence, sharing insights and ideas for improving performance and testing new tactics
  • Work with outside vendors including third party list services and media properties
  • Create & maintain documentation to reflect email processes and systems
  • Own the team email calendar, managing frequency of mailing to different parties
  • Collaborate with a cross-functional team, working with other members of the marketing and design teams to ensure high quality campaigns that are on message and brand
  • Coordinate with the sales team to strategize on best ways to target leads, ensure sales follow-up, and circle back on the quality of leads delivered from campaigns and share ideas for improvement
  • Support as needed on LI posts, paid and organic, in conjunction with PR and content team

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years marketing experience
  • 2+ years of email marketing experience
  • Due to the nature of this position, as part of the background check process, candidates must be able to pass a fingerprint background check to qualify as a fingerprinted person under FINRA. For roles requiring registration, additional regulatory screenings may apply, including a review of Form U5 disclosures and other relevant licensing information.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Financial services experience preferred. Wealth management, lending, or insurance experience a bonus
  • Experience with Hubspot strongly preferred. Knowledge of SendGrid or other solutions a plus
  • Conversant with HTML, able to troubleshoot as needed
  • BI/Excel and basic presentation skills

At Flourish, we focus on ensuring fair, equitable pay by providing competitive salaries, along with bonus and incentive opportunities and benefits for all employees.

Base Salary Range: $99,800 - $131,000 plus bonus
