Overview
The Parts/Warehouse Associate is responsible for ordering and receiving parts, maintaining and tracking inventory, and coordinating with technicians, project managers, customers, vendors, and freight companies to ensure timely and accurate parts management. This hybrid role includes both administrative and warehouse responsibilities, requiring time at a desk using a phone and computer, as well as time operating a forklift and working within the warehouse environment. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, organized, and capable of multitasking while effectively solving problems in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
• Monitor parts inventory and order replacement parts
• Order parts and diligently track order status
• Monthly inventory of equipment and refrigerant and data-entry into computer databases
• Unload deliveries - Forklift required
• Maintain building and property for general upkeep
• Maintain gas cards, and database of fleet, oil changes, and vehicle repairs
• Assist technicians on jobsites, and with other projects if needed
Qualifications
• Valid Driver's License with ability to pass company's MVR requirements
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs. regularly and adhere to all safety guidelines
• Ability to set and climb a ladder
• Experience driving a forklift and using a computer or ability to learn
• Previous experience operating a forklift and inventory or shipping/receiving (preferred)
• Bilingual is a plus
