Role Overview

Location: New York, NY (Full time onsite)

We are seeking a highly strategic and execution-oriented Head of IT, Security & Fraud Prevention to lead Flowcode’s enterprise IT infrastructure, cybersecurity posture, and fraud prevention efforts. You will be responsible for securing our internal systems, protecting user trust, and ensuring the integrity of user-generated content (UGC) across our platform.

This is a mission-critical position with direct impact on business continuity, brand reputation, client trust, and platform safety.

Key Responsibilities

IT Infrastructure & Operations

• Build and scale Flowcode’s internal IT systems to support a high-performance team that works both in-office and remotely.
• Oversee office network connectivity.
• Develop secure, scalable approaches to device management and provisioning across teams.

Security & Compliance

• Lead Flowcode’s information security program, including policy development, enforcement, and monitoring.
• Own and maintain compliance with SOC 2 Type II, GDPR, and emerging data protection standards.
• Collaborate with engineering to embed security into infrastructure, development pipelines, and product design.
• Oversee identity and access management (IAM), endpoint security, and uptime monitoring.

Incident Response & Risk Management

• Lead incident detection and response programs, including phishing, access breaches, and system outages.
• Implement and test business continuity and disaster recovery plans across the enterprise.
• Prepare and present security posture, risk assessments, and audit readiness to the executive team.

Fraud & Abuse Prevention

• Design and implement systems and protocols to prevent fraud, abuse, spam, and malicious content uploads on Flowcode’s platform 
• Monitor for suspicious behavior, compromised accounts, and misuse of Flowcode products in real-time.
• Partner with product and engineering to define and enforce scalable content moderation and trust & safety mechanisms.
• Stay ahead of fraud trends by implementing intelligent detection systems (e.g. rule-based filters, behavioral signals, AI/ML models).

Employee Experience & Support

• Ensure team members have seamless, secure access to the tools and platforms they need to perform.
• Own IT onboarding/offboarding workflows, SaaS license management, and IT support processes.

You Have

• 10+ years in IT, security, or platform trust leadership roles—ideally in high-growth B2B or platform SaaS.
• Hands-on experience managing SOC 2, security reviews, and data privacy compliance.
• Familiarity with content moderation, UGC abuse prevention, fraud detection systems, and/or spam mitigation frameworks.
• Deep working knowledge of cloud-based infrastructure, MDM, IAM, and network security.
• Strong leadership presence with the ability to influence across legal, engineering, product, and exec teams.
• High integrity, ownership mindset, and bias for action.

Bonus Points For

• Experience leading fraud prevention or trust & safety teams at platforms with significant UGC exposure.
• Certifications like CISSP, CISM, Security+, or fraud-focused credentials (e.g., CFE).
• Experience with monitoring and automation platforms (e.g., Vanta, Drata, Snyk, Wiz).
• Understanding of regulatory frameworks like TX-RAMP, HIPAA, or CCPA.
