Risk Manager, Digital Assets - Interim

Flow Traders is looking for an interim Risk Manager with a focus on Digital Assets to join our Operations and Control team in our Amsterdam office. In this role, you will ensure that the firm’s Digital Asset Trading business runs within the firm’s risk appetite by means of executing and implementing first-line risk controls, operating procedures and monitoring of business processes.

What you will do

• Operate first-line risk control procedures such as crypto and bank transfer approvals and trading limit requests
• Monitor market and credit risk limits and escalate limit breaches
• Execute risks assessments and timely identify and communicate emerging risks and remedies
• Design and implement efficient and effective operating procedures

What you need to succeed

• Master's degree in finance, economics, accounting, or a related field
• Relevant experience working in financial services as a Risk Manager or in internal or external audit
• Strong internal and external stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Understanding of the (high-frequency) trading industry and its market dynamics; Affinity with Digital Assets is a strong plus
• Strong Excel skills and working experience with SQL and/or BI solutions is a strong-plus
• Fluency in English, verbal and in writing is required
