Team Lead Recruitment, EMEA

Flow Traders is looking for an experienced Recruitment Team Lead to join our team in our Amsterdam office. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience across multiple areas of recruitment, combined with proven leadership capabilities. You will lead a team of five recruiters, each specializing in Trading, Technology, or Business Support roles. What you will do

  • Lead, mentor, and support a team of 5 recruiters to meet hiring objectives
  • Drive the growth and continuous development of team members through coaching, feedback, and support
  • Create the annual recruitment strategy together with the Heads of Department
  • Manage and execute end-to-end recruitment processes for senior-level roles as required
  • Partner with business leaders and hiring managers to understand hiring needs and develop sourcing strategies
  • Monitor key recruitment metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, quality of hire) and oversee reporting on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
  • Analyze recruitment data and optimize strategies where needed
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of candidates through proactive sourcing, networking, and employer branding initiatives
  • Ensure team provides a high-quality candidate experience throughout the hiring journey
  • Work closely with HR Business Partners to support smooth onboarding and help ensure new hires are set up for long-term success and retention
  • Manage recruitment system (Greenhouse) and tools and ensure data integrity and compliance
  • Contribute to employer branding efforts, including career events, job fairs, and online presence
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, talent market insights, and innovative hiring practices

 

What you need to succeed:

  • 5 years’ experience as a Leading Recruiter or Team Lead recruitment in a complex, high performing organization
  • Experience leading or mentoring a team while having a hands on attitude
  • At least 3 years of international sourcing experience
  • A good understanding of the different European recruitment markets
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to provide structured, data driven, output and results
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Assertive, pragmatic, resilient with a can-do attitude
  • Demonstratable ability to work together and build up relationships & trust with key stakeholders in the execution of recruiting initiatives
  • Strong personality with the ability to work in a demanding and fast-paced environment
