Technical Animator

The role is open to candidates based in Portugal preferably in Lisbon.

About the role

As a technical animator at Fluxon you will work with a world-leading AI team within a FAANG company. You will be producing animations, state machines, animation rigs, and other resources. You will ensure that these are compliant with the requirements of the team, and collaborate with other engineers in putting these resources to use in the product.

You'll be responsible for:

• Supporting the integration of animations in a 3D engine
• Creating complex animation rigs, including human characters
• Writing scripts related to animation, IK, and processing of 3D scene formats including USD and GLTF
• Validating animations to adhere to technical restrictions
• Creating, maintaining, testing, and debugging animation tools and pipelines
