Technical Software Implementation Specialist

Fluxx is hiring a technical Implementation Specialist to play a critical role on the Customer Onboarding Team. We are looking for candidates with 3-5 years of professional experience, which includes a combination of customer-facing, project-based, and technical implementation work. The primary responsibilities of the SaaS Implementation Specialist include: 

1) becoming a Fluxx product expert, 

2) translating the customer’s business needs into Fluxx solutions leveraging platform functionality, 

3) configuring the system based on the customer’s needs, 

4) executing data migrations (if scoped and in partnership with Data Specialist) and,

5) creating and maintaining a strong project timeline and executing against the scope

This is a full-time exempt and remote position. Candidates must be located in the United States.

 

What you will be doing:

  • Manage the implementation of Fluxx software for multiple customers concurrently, delivering within the project scope and timeline deadlines
  • Ability to navigate and balance competing priorities across multiple projects
  • Collect and confirm product configuration requirements using blueprints, templates,  prototyping, business analysis, and process analysis to deliver grant management solution configuration to meet those requirements
  • When appropriate, leverage knowledge of programming languages to meet customer’s requirements and enhance their experience of the platform
  • Utilize stellar project management skills and techniques to ensure scope and timelines are adhered to and the customer has a satisfactory experience during their implementation and beyond
  • Oversee the data migration within the project to both effectively communicate the process and model as well as complete the technical elements: data readiness, execution, iteration. 
  • Troubleshoot and facilitate issue resolution, proactively collaborating with team members of other departments (Product, Support, Engineering, etc.) 
  • Educate customers on how to use purchased software system and personalized system features
  • Communicate with different levels of management regarding project status and needs. Ability to discuss these solutions with both the technical and business community.
  • Be a great communicator, meaning you understand the significance and appropriate use of tone and mediums based on circumstance and audience.
  • Be ready, willing, and able to track and document everything that happens on the project, then report on it like clockwork to the project team and stakeholders.

 

What you bring to the team:

  • 3-5 years of professional experience: 1) configuring software solutions, 2) eliciting customer requirements/user stories, and 3) business process analysis 
  • Strong familiarity with agile project management principles, tools, and techniques. Previous project management experience required.
  • Be comfortable presenting technical information and leading customer meetings with professionalism and integrity 
  • Very strong analytical skills and the expertise to translate user scenarios (or business requirements) into technical solutions
  • Experience and/or understanding of data migration processes and principles 
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and quickly process information  
  • A track record of being a team player and leader with strong interpersonal skills and a talent for collaboration
  • Be a problem-solver who has a demonstrated ability to overcome challenges with creative solutions
  • Be a self-motivated, independent worker and thinker with a positive attitude
  • Familiarity with grant management processes is a huge a plus
  • Familiarity with CRM and grantmaking software is also a plus (especially Fluxx Grantmaker) 
  • Familiarity with scripting skills, including CSS/HTML/Liquid/Ruby

Salary:

The expected annual base salary for this role is $102,000 - 120,000.  The base pay range is subject to change in the future. 

The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on, but not limited to, (a) location, (b) individual candidate skills and qualifications, and (c) individual candidate experience. 

Fluxx is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. We take a market-based approach to pay which may vary depending on your location. Locations are categorized into one of three zones based on a cost of labor index for that geographic location and our compensation philosophy.
