Fluxx is seeking a Business Intelligence Consultant/Implementation Specialist to support our customers on Grantelligence, our built-in business intelligence solution. In this role, you’ll work with customers and prospects to understand and solve their data and reporting needs through all phases of the customer lifecycle. Your work may begin in the pre-sales process, demoing the platform and helping to solution its fit to our customer’s needs, extend through implementation with hands-on configuration work to drive initial value and include ongoing support around building new visualizations that ensure value recognition for the long term and drive impact reporting. You would also serve as the internal SME, supporting the training and understanding of the platform for your colleagues.  We’re seeking a true team player with that perfect combination of passion for customer success and deep technical knowledge - you’re a people person who enjoys helping customers understand how a BI tool can solve their problems, but you also love to get deep into complex formulas and data transformations. 

This is a full-time exempt and remote position. Candidates must be located in the United States.

What we are looking for:

  • A passion for helping people use data to solve business challenges.
  • Experience with one or more BI solutions (Tableau, PowerBI, Qlik, etc.). Grantelligence is built on Domo, so experience with that is a huge bonus.
  • 5+ years of experience in a reporting or BI consulting role.
  • 2+ years of experience in a B2B SaaS company - experience delivering technical implementations is a plus.
  • Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences - you make the hard stuff sound easy.
  • Deep understanding of data visualization principles and best practices.
  • Moderate understanding of relational database architecture and data modeling.
  • Some familiarity with writing SQL (any flavor) queries for data transformations.
  • Comfort with managing multiple projects and priorities at the same time.

What you’ll do:

  • Collaborate with newly implemented and existing customers to uncover their business needs, then design and build BI solutions to meet those needs.
  • Help customers utilize their data to create visualizations around the impact of their activities
  • Provide ongoing support to existing customers.
  • Act as the internal business intelligence SME & help educate your colleagues.
  • Support Sales & Customer Success on larger or more technical prospects that require additional expertise.
  • Work cross-functionally with Product and Marketing to contribute to the development and promotion of Grantelligence as the product matures.
  • Contribute to the creation of documentation and learning resources to further support customer use of the product.

Salary:

The expected annual base salary for this role is $92,000-$124,000.  The base pay range is subject to change in the future. 

The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on, but not limited to, (a) location, (b) individual candidate skills and qualifications, and (c) individual candidate experience. 

Fluxx is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. We take a market-based approach to pay which may vary depending on your location. Locations are categorized into one of three zones based on a cost of labor index for that geographic location and our compensation philosophy.
