Director, Product Marketing

Fluxx is looking for a strategic, hands-on Director of Product Marketing to own how we position, launch, and differentiate our platform in the market. This role sits at the intersection of product strategy, customer insight, and revenue growth, serving as the connective tissue between Product, Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing.

This leader will own end-to-end go-to-market strategy and execution, developing compelling product positioning and messaging, driving successful product launches, and influencing best-in-class sales enablement. Success in this role means ensuring our Sales organization is equipped with the messaging, competitive insights, and enablement materials needed to accelerate pipeline, improve win rates, and drive product adoption.

About the Role

You will define our messaging architecture, lead GTM strategy for new products and features, and build the enablement foundation that helps Fluxx win competitive deals and drive adoption. You'll operate with significant autonomy and partner directly with executive leadership on go-to-market direction. You actively use AI to streamline how work gets done automating launch coordination, accelerating content production, and eliminating manual overhead.

What You'll Own

Strategic Positioning & Messaging

  • Own Fluxx's product positioning, messaging frameworks, and narrative architecture across the platform and add-ons
  • Develop persona-specific messaging across the customer lifecycle
  • Define our competitive differentiation strategy and partner with executive leadership to shape GTM direction and product narrative

Product Launches & GTM Execution

  • Partner with Product on launch strategy (timing, positioning, naming, sequencing) while Product owns project management
  • Own integrated GTM execution across multi-channel campaigns, team training, and ready collateral ahead of launch
  • Drive internal readiness across Sales, CS, and Marketing
  • Build and improve automated, repeatable launch systems using AI and workflow tooling
  • Provide the strategic input and messaging foundation Sales Enablement needs for pitch decks, battlecards, one-pagers, and objection handling guides

Customer & Market Intelligence

  • Lead voice of customer synthesis into actionable GTM and positioning recommendations
  • Monitor market trends and competitive dynamics, surfacing patterns to leadership
  • Own customer segmentation strategy and build feedback loops between Product, Marketing, Sales, and CS

Messaging Governance & Cross-Functional Alignment

  • Ensure consistency of product language across all channels and campaigns
  • Leverage AI to scale content production and reduce manual lift of keeping materials current
  • Serve as connective tissue between Product, Demand Gen, Customer Marketing, and Marketing Ops, including on adoption, lifecycle messaging, and attribution reporting

  • Connect marketing investment to pipeline/revenue and partner with Finance and RevOps on revenue contribution

Operational Acumen & AI Fluency

  • Strong operator's instinct  sees inefficiency and builds systems that scale
  • Actively uses AI to draft messaging, accelerate competitive research, generate enablement content, and reduce repeatable work
  • Has automated GTM/marketing workflows, reducing manual handoffs without sacrificing quality

Experience

Required

  • 10+ years in marketing, most recently in product marketing or related leadership
  • Demonstrated ability to own GTM strategy end-to-end positioning through launch and adoption
  • Track record building sales enablement foundations with sales teams
  • Strong cross-functional leadership at the Director level
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication, distilling complex capabilities into clear narratives

Nice to Have

  • Experience in social good, tech for impact, or philanthropic technology (grants management, nonprofit, public sector)
  • Background in community development finance, foundations, or government
  • Exposure to usage-based or expansion-led growth models in SaaS

Salary:

Fluxx is committed to fair, transparent, and equitable compensation practices. We use a market based approach that considers cost of labor by geographic region, along with company size and industry benchmarks.

This role is categorized into three compensation tiers based on location, with the following expected annual on-target earnings (base salary + commission):

Fluxx is currently seeking candidates located in Zone 2 and Zone 3 geographies for this role.

  • Zone 2 – Atlanta, Seattle, San Diego, Washington D.C.
      $170,000-$185,000

  • Zone 3 – All other U.S. locations
      $160,000-$175,000

The range listed reflects the expectations outlined in this job description. The final salary and commission package will be determined based on, but not limited to:
(a) the candidate’s location, (b) individual skills and qualifications, and (c) relevant experience.
