The Role:
We recently won our first $1m+ DoD contract engagement to enable mission-specific AI to AFSOC Special Operators, and we also crossed an important commercial sales milestone. You will be the first hire dedicated to turning our website and digital channels into a predictable stream of $20,000+ per ticket drone sales. Half of your week you’ll code—shipping front-end changes, improving core web vitals, and hardening analytics. The other half you’ll market—owning SEO strategy, launching paid campaigns, and crafting content with the CEO that makes qualified buyers book calls. You'll work with a team of awesome engineers from Yale University, NASA JPL, NVIDIA, and U.S. Naval Air Command at our Culver City production facility, where we make the drones.

What You'll Do:
- Own the platform and obsess about funnels. Maintain and iterate marketing material - build new landing pages, implement schema markup, and A/B-test CTAs to drive up visitor-to-demo conversion.
- Run technical SEO & content ops. Keyword research, pillar-page planning, backlink outreach, and on-page optimisation to rank in the top three for high-intent searches (e.g. “NDAA-compliant industrial drone,” “AI drones”).
- Launch and optimise paid campaigns and ship growth experiments weekly. Google Search, Performance Max, and LinkedIn Lead-Gen ads with your own monthly budget, with clear hypotheses, documentation, and post-mortems.
- Partner with the CEO. Ensure a steady cadence of qualified demo bookings; refine ICP and messaging from real sales conversations.
Core Requirements:
- You have a hybrid skill set between engineering and marketing: Strong development fundamentals (Next.js/JavaScript/React) or a strong technical understanding of it, and ROI-driven growth marketing demand-gen experience for high-ticket consumer/smb products or services (drones, solar, robotics, etc.).
- You have proven understanding of technical SEO. Show rankings you’ve captured and the traffic or pipeline impact.
- You had hands-on management with paid channels, including Google Ads and LinkedIn Campaign Manager with documented CPL and ROI improvements.
- You have a bias for velocity and ownership. You plan -> build -> measure in days, not months.
- This is a good product, and you find yourself passionate about letting the world know that this product is good. You’re someone who finds a ton of enjoyment doing that.
Compensation and Benefits:
- $120,000 per year annual salary.
- High uncapped commission on generated revenue.
- 0.5% equity via stock options, depending on the candidate's experience.
