Flight Itinerary (About The Role)

We’re looking for Staff Frontend Engineers who are willing to join our rapidly growing startup in Kraków. We are growing a team to deliver a complex line-of-business application targeting the airline and travel industry. This application has complex multidimensional analysis and visualization of airline datasets, visualization of FLYR’s machine-learning forecasts, and supports complex workflows to manage FLYR’s Operating System solution.

What Your Journey Will Look Like (Responsibilities)

  • You will ship the latest new features, in order to disrupt the airline industry's pricing problems.
  • You will work with Architects and engineering leadership to design the FLYR’s components, in order to disrupt the airline industry's pricing problems.
  • You will develop a scalable, well-structured frontend application with excellent user experience, optimized for maximum performance in React framework
  • You will collaborate with Technical Product Owners to feed engineering input into feature definition and define engineering roadmap items.
  • You will collaborate with Technical Product Owners and UI/UX designers to deliver complex application features and end-user workflows
  • You will support defining quality standards and engineering processes for building robust and scalable solutions.

What To Pack For This Trip (Qualifications)

  • Degree and/or advanced domain expertise and successful industry experience in either Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Maths, Economics, or Operation Research
  • 6+ years of relevant work experience in frontend applications development
  • In-depth understanding of design patterns and programming best practices
  • Proficient knowledge of web development (HTML/CSS)
  • Extensive knowledge of TypeScript, JavaScript (EcmaScript 6) and React framework
  • Proficient experience with REST API
  • Experience with unit testing of react applications using Jest
  • Experience with version control systems like Git
  • Strong communication skills, sense of ownership and drive
  • Independence, pragmatic approach and attention to detail
  • Good written and oral communication skills in English

Optional Carry-On (Preferred Qualifications)

  • Experience with optimizing application performance and solving scalability issues
  • Experience with design system implementation
  • Experience with microfrontend architecture
