Flight Itinerary (About The Role)
The Senior Global Payroll Analyst is responsible for ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant payroll processing across Poland, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, the United States, Colombia, Spain, and Germany. This role will work closely with third-party payroll providers, Finance, HR, and external stakeholders to manage payroll operations, ensure compliance with country-specific regulations, and drive process improvements. The ideal candidate has excellent analytical skills and a background in international payroll and time-tracking systems.
What Your Journey Will Look Like (Responsibilities)
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing for multiple countries in partnership with iiPay, Active Payroll, ADP and DEEL.
- Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, social security contributions, labor laws, and statutory reporting.
- Audit payroll transactions and stay updated on legislation changes.
- Verify employee working hours, overtime, and leave balances in compliance with local labor laws.
- Troubleshoot time-tracking discrepancies and ensure seamless data flow to payroll systems.
- Reconcile payroll reports, ensuring alignment between HR, Finance, and external providers.
- Support Finance with payroll-related journal entries, tax filings, and cost reporting.
- Conduct regular audits of payroll and time-tracking data to maintain data integrity.
- Provide payroll analytics and insights on trends, compliance risks, and cost optimization.
- Act as the primary point of contact for payroll-related queries from employees across covered countries.
- Work with HR, Finance, IT, and external vendors to maintain system integrations and ensure smooth operations.
- Identify inefficiencies, propose automation, and contribute to system upgrades and integrations with HRIS.
What To Pack For This Trip (Qualifications)
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience processing payroll in a multi-country environment, preferably covering Poland, Netherlands, UK, US, Colombia, Spain, and Germany.
- Experience working with third-party payroll providers such as iiPay, Active Payroll, and ADP.
- Strong knowledge of local tax regulations, social security contributions, and labor laws across multiple countries.
- Hands-on experience managing time-tracking systems like Replicon.
- Proven ability to handle end-to-end payroll processing, including compliance, tax filings, and data reconciliation.
- Proficiency in payroll systems (iiPay, Active Payroll, ADP, Replicon) and HRIS systems, and their integration.
- Strong Excel skills with the ability to perform data analysis, reconciliations, and report generation.
- Ability to conduct payroll audits, identify discrepancies, and ensure data accuracy.
- Proven ability to analyze payroll data, identify trends, and provide insights to Finance and HR.
- Experience in reconciling payroll reports, resolving time-tracking and payroll discrepancies
- Ability to identify inefficiencies in payroll processes and propose automation or workflow enhancements.
- Experience participating in payroll system implementations, upgrades, or integrations with HRIS platforms.
- Proven ability to improve payroll workflows, ensuring data accuracy and reducing manual efforts.
- Strong communication skills to liaise with employees, HR, Finance, and external payroll vendors.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-national environment, managing competing priorities.
- High level of accuracy in processing payroll, tax filings, and compliance documentation.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple payrolls across various countries.
- Ability to stay updated on changing payroll regulations across multiple countries.
- Flexibility to adapt to evolving payroll processes and technologies, willingness to enhance payroll expertise.
