Flight Itinerary (About The Role)

We are looking for a Senior Quality Analyst to join our team. You will be working on our new Offer and Order products which will combine flight and ancillary services into personalized offers for travelers and enable the distribution of offers through all channels.

What Your Journey Will Look Like (Responsibilities)

  • You will design and assist in the implementation of our automated test platforms and tools for the Offer and Order products of FLYR with a focus on contracts and API-level testing
  • You will be expected to take ownership of the test strategy for our projects and actively drive its implementation, ensuring the quality and reliability of our software
  • You will determine gaps and corner cases to improve automated testing coverage
  • Track test coverage of business requirements for milestone releases
  • You will monitor overall components health by identifying test suites failures, reporting defects, and driving bug triage and root cause analysis processes with engineering teams to ensure application reliability
  • You will be part of a self-organizing Scrum team that consists of a professional Technical Product Owner and backend engineers to build quality metrics and lead testing initiatives
  • Coordinate with the DevOps team to increase operational testing and enhance monitoring and observability capabilities

What To Pack For This Trip (Qualifications)

  • Degree or advanced domain expertise and successful industry experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Math
  • In-depth knowledge in building testing plans and strategies, writing test cases, triaging bugs
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in test automation and test management
  • Knowledge and experience in automated API and contract testing
  • Willingness to get a deep understanding of airline domain knowledge
  • Strong communication skills and a sense of ownership
  • Ability to operate independently
  • Good written and oral communication skills in English

Optional Carry-On (Preferred Qualifications)

  • Industry experience in Aviation Retailing
  • Knowledge of automated testing in Golang, Java or Python is a plus
  • Basic understanding of Docker and Kubernetes
  • Knowledge of SQL
