Flight Itinerary (About The Role)

The Senior Global Payroll Analyst is responsible for ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant payroll processing across Poland, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, the United States, Colombia, Spain, and Germany. This role will work closely with third-party payroll providers, Finance, HR, and external stakeholders to manage payroll operations, ensure compliance with country-specific regulations, and drive process improvements. The ideal candidate has excellent analytical skills and a strong background in international payroll and time-tracking systems.

What Your Journey Will Look Like (Responsibilities)

  • Manage end-to-end payroll processing for multiple countries in partnership with iiPay, ADP and DEEL.
  • Audit payroll transactions and stay updated on legislation changes to ensure compliance with local tax regulations, social security contributions, labor laws, and statutory reporting.
  • Reconcile payroll reports, ensure accurate tracking of employee hours, overtime, pay and leaves, resolving discrepancies and maintaining smooth payroll data flow.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for payroll-related queries from employees across covered countries.
  • Build strong partnerships with HR, Finance, IT, and external vendors to ensure smooth, collaborative operations and maintain system integrations. 
  • Drive process improvements and automation, identify inefficiencies, risks and opportunities.
  • Apply best practices and experience to optimize payroll operations and contribute to system upgrades and integrations with HRIS.
  • Support Finance with payroll-related journal entries, tax filings, and cost reporting.
  • Provide payroll analytics and insights on trends, compliance risks, and cost optimization, offering informed recommendations and a strategic point of view.

What To Pack For This Trip (Qualifications)

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Fluent in Polish and English.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience processing payroll in a multi-country environment, preferably covering Poland, Netherlands, UK, US, Colombia, Spain, and Germany.
  • Experience working with third-party payroll providers such as iiPay, DEEL, and ADP.
  • Strong knowledge of local tax regulations, social security contributions, and labor laws across multiple countries.
  • Strong organizational skills and proven ability to manage and maintain high levels of accuracy of end to end payroll processing, tax filings, compliance and process documentation across various countries.
  • Proficiency in payroll, time and attendance and other HRIS systems, and their integration.
  • Strong Excel skills with the ability to perform data analysis, reconciliations, and report generation.
  • Ability to conduct payroll audits, reconcile payroll reports, identify and resolve time-tracking or payroll discrepancies, and ensure data accuracy
  • Ability to identify inefficiencies in payroll processes and propose automation or workflow enhancements, improving data accuracy and reducing manual efforts.
  • Experience participating in payroll system implementations, upgrades, or integrations with HRIS platforms.
  • Strong communication skills to liaise with employees, HR, Finance, and external payroll vendors.
  • Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, multi-national environments, manage competing priorities, and adapt to evolving payroll processes and technologies.
  • Demonstrating maturity and curiosity, providing constructive feedback, and confidently sharing own perspectives.
