Flight Itinerary (About The Role)

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer, who will shape both the technical strategy as well as finer details of technical direction. You will guide product solutions that will have an impact beyond just one project. This role is about independently addressing big challenges, helping the team navigate pathways to success, and making sure everyone is moving toward shared objectives. 

What Your Journey Will Look Like (Responsibilities)

  • Set the stage for your teams’ technical architecture, aligning tech with business goals,  and helping the team deliver on quality and efficiency. 
  • Tackle the end-to-end design, development, and deployment of major initiatives, with an eye on reliability and long-term viability. 
  • Mentor peers and less experienced engineers, handling tricky tech challenges and  offering solutions only a few can. 
  • Lead rollouts for major projects, keeping all teams in sync and ensuring a smooth  launch. 
  • Conduct in-depth code reviews and maintain best practices in testing and monitoring to  ensure reliability. 
  • Communicate technical challenges clearly and provide data-driven feedback to enhance  team performance and direction. 

What To Pack For This Trip (Qualifications)

  • 5+ years of experience with C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, SQL Server, MongoDB,  Redis and RabbitMQ or equivalent technologies, JMeter and Postman for advanced QA.
  • Experience leading projects that include strategic problem-solving and high-impact results, following Clean Architecture principles and best practices. 
  • A tactical approach to balancing code quality, testing, and long-term architecture. 
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to distill complex issues into clear, actionable insights. 
  • Working proficiency in English and Spanish (fluency in both will be a plus).

Optional Carry-On (Preferred Qualifications)

  • Expertise with Git submodules
  • Experience with Angular
  • Experience in the airline industry, e-commerce systems and/or SaaS. 
  • Talent for onboarding new engineers and fostering team growth through mentorship.
