The Opportunity
We're looking for a Senior Specialist in Supply Chain Operations to become an integral part of our Managed Services function. This role requires a strong understanding of the Walmart deduction management processes and experience in other omnichannel retail operations as a plus. The role reports into the Director of Supply Chain and is focused around helping the world’s largest CPG manufacturers.
You'll work closely with a variety of Flywheel brands to build strategies that reduce cost and minimize risk. This is a great opportunity for an individual with experience in leading deduction management efforts, creating processes, and implementing key performance indicators (KPIs).
What You Will Do
- Create, manage, and oversee Walmart deduction recovery processes ensuring accuracy and timely execution
- Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) in Walmart deduction management, while also understanding other omnichannel retail operations (Target, Ulta, Home Depot, etc.)
- Own creation and updates of statements of work (SOWs) based on business and retailer requirements
- Engage in client conversations and presenting results using data-driven recommendations and solutions
- Manage and oversee key operational metrics as invoice shortages, fines, accruals, etc.
- Work closely and communicate with internal stakeholders to evaluate automation opportunities and ensuring seamless client experience
Who You Are
- You have experience (ideally 3+ years) in supply chain, operations, or a related field
- You have a deep understanding of the Walmart deduction management process in Retail Link (recovery and prevention)
- Having experience with other omnichannel retailers (Target, Ulta, Home Depot, etc.) is considered an asset
- You can analyze client data and translate them into actionable insights
- You possess strong project management skills to launch a new fee recovery program, and can manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- You have a keen eye for detail
- You have time management skills that include prioritization of a variety of projects
- You have strong communication skills, you can confidently present to various senior level roles within Flywheel’s client organizations
- You are naturally curious and have the desire to learn about new processes as they are introduced
