About You and The Role

We are dedicated to building the strongest team in the world in Ukraine, and we’re looking for an HR People Partner to build a high-performance culture and partner with local leadership to design and scale HR practices.

We are looking for someone who has HR experience, who loves to foster high levels of team engagement, who cares deeply about maintaining a high performance bar, and who enjoys partnering with hiring managers to develop thoughtful approaches to recruiting talent in Ukraine. What You'll Do  

  • Become an expert on the business and the unique challenges Zipline faces as we continue to expand our business across Ukraine
  • Partner closely with Operational leads, providing guidance and holding them accountable for high performing teams that do amazing work, on time
  • Act as a culture ambassador, emulating Zipline’s values and helping leads to incorporate them into their conversations around engagement, coaching & development and performance management
  • Work closely with Leads on effective headcount planning and organizational design
  • Coach Leads regarding the importance of effective onboarding for new hires/internal transfers and holding leads accountable to developing these plans
  • Hold Leads accountable for giving clear and actionable performance feedback to everyone on their team through micro and macro feedback
  • Give direct feedback to leaders when they aren’t meeting Zipline’s leadership expectations
  • Responsible for maintaining HR-related documents, ensuring administrative procedures are followed, that HR-related compliance requirements are upheld, and that HR-related financial reporting is documented and well-maintained.
  • Drive company-wide performance calibrations and compensation reviews, ensuring a fair and equitable process
  • Design intentional and scalable HR processes that work for our unique business
  • Help to keep Zipline compliant with labor laws and regulations
  • Assess team member concerns and complaints and work closely with legal counsel to conduct thorough, unbiased investigations and recommended outcomes

What you'll Bring

  • Fluency in written and spoken English
  • Fluency in written and spoken Ukrainian
  • 8+ years of  HR experience in Ukraine
  • Proven successful interactions with global teams
  • Ability to build strong relationships and rapidly earn trust with leaders of all levels
  • Has demonstrated a high level of discretion with sensitive people information
  • Proven track record of creating and implementing talent acquisition strategies for high-performing teams while maintaining culture and promoting diversity
  • Excellent project management and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and management skills
  • Desire to work in a decentralized team and be very hands-on
