Position Summary
Material handlers contribute to the success of Fashion Nova by ensuring that our FN customers receive a complete and  accurate order, delivered on time, and in excellent condition.  

Essential Functions
Work shifts can include early starts, late finishes, and weekends. During busy periods, overtime is required. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

  • Responsible for checking in and out RF (Radio Frequency) units at the beginning and end of the shift. 
  • Effectively utilize RF units to execute daily tasks. 
  • Accurately locate and pull cases from inventory in preparation for replenishment. 

Education Requirements 

  • High School Diploma/ GED 
  • Experience in manufacturing or related field is preferred 
  • Ability to communicate in both English and Spanish (bilingual) 

Knowledge & Skill Requirements

  • Must successfully complete and maintain certifications for operating motorized material handling equipment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment 
  • Must be detail oriented and task focused 
  • Be able to work at a high level under minimal or no supervision 

Working Conditions 

The working conditions described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential  functions of this position. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the  essential functions.  Must be physically capable of working in conditions normally associated with a merchandise warehouse distribution center.  In specific assignments, an employee may occasionally work near moving equipment and have an increased risk of exposure  to toxic or caustic chemicals, biological hazards, airborne fumes, outdoor weather conditions and loud, prolonged noise. 

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for long periods of time without restrictions (8-12 hours) 
  • Able to reach and extend both arms at full length 
  • Able to bend, twist, reach, and lift to 50 pounds 
  • Able to bend and twist at the waist 
  • Able to work with both hands without restrictions 
  • Ability to ascend and descend staircases without restrictions
