ROLE OVERVIEW

  • Operational Leadership & Execution –Maximize efficiency, safety, and throughput while meeting or exceeding customer expectations.
  • Scalability & Innovation – Identify and implement forward-thinking strategies and process improvements that enhance scalability, optimize workflows, and maintain FN Logistics’ competitive speed advantage.

  • Strategic Growth & Alignment – Partner with executive leadership to translate organizational goals into actionable operational strategies that drive sustainable growth and operational excellence.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee outbound operations, including order picking, packing, shipping, inventory control, and replenishment.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, and system integrity checks.
  • Achieve operational targets (SLAs, cost/unit, order accuracy, and labor productivity).
  • Partner with inbound, transportation, and other teams to ensure smooth operational flow.
  • Collaborate with HR and staffing agencies to maintain a stable labor pipeline, minimize turnover, and support effective training and onboarding.
  • Maintain a safe, efficient, and highly engaged workplace that fosters productivity and employee well-being.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and execute operational strategies aligned with FN Logistics’ long-term vision.
  • Drive operational efficiency and speed-to-customer through process analysis, workflow improvements, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Develop and monitor day-to-day operational systems and processes, ensuring visibility into goals, progress, and potential obstacles.
  • Build and lead a high-performing team by mentoring talent, fostering skill development, and driving performance standards.
  • Uphold organizational policies, standards, and regulatory compliance requirements.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • 15+ years of warehouse and distribution experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, logistics, supply chain or related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of senior leadership experience in a high-volume fulfillment center processing at least 20k+ orders per day.
  • Proven ability to plan, lead, and optimize operational processes for maximum efficiency and productivity.
  • Superior knowledge of core operational functions, including finance, customer service, production, and employee management.
  • Demonstrated success in streamlining operations, implementing new structures, and driving speed and efficiency to meet rapidly changing business demands.
  • Strong working knowledge of industry regulations and applicable legislative guidelines.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILL REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience in budget management, forecasting, and long-term business plan development.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with a leading Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Warehouse Execution System (WES).
  • Proven success in leveraging conveyance systems or automation to drive operational efficiency and productivity.
  • Superior negotiation skills for both internal and external partnerships.
  • Masterful organizational, communication, and leadership abilities with a record of driving high-performing teams.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using data analysis and performance metrics via business management software (e.g., SAP, ERP, CRM).
