Human Resources Manager

The HR Manager offers on-site support to employees and managers, delivering key HR services.  Responsibilities include recruitment coordination, onboarding, employee relations, HR programs, compliance, and partnering with ICONIQ for HRIS data management.  The ideal candidate is approachable, detail-oriented, and skilled at managing a variety of HR functions.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Assist with managing the full-cycle recruitment process for exempt and non-exempt positions 
  • Coordinate with hiring managers ensure a seamless candidate experience
  • Prepare NDA’s, offer letters, facilitate onboarding, and ensure timely completion of new hire documents
  • Serve as the point of contact for employee inquiries related to policies, benefits, and general HR matters
  • Maintain confidentiality while addressing concerns and providing guidance
  • Conduct exit interviews and support offboarding processes
  • Assist with open enrollment and other benefits-related communications
  • Support the company-wide HR initiatives such as employee engagement, learning and development, and recognition programs
  • Coordinate follow-ups for new hires at 30-60 days and assist with welcome activities
  • Partner with ICONIQ to communicate employee status changes, benefit updates, and leave of absence information, ensuring proper documentation, accuracy and confidentiality
  • Generate ADP reports to monitor hours worked and ensure benefits eligibility for Hawaii
  • Support performance review cycles and policy updates
  • Attend Safety Committee meetings and contribute to workplace safety initiatives
  • Track employee referral programs and support HR-related process improvements

Skills & Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in an HR Generalist or Coordinator role
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices, labor laws, and employee relations
  • Proficient in HRIS systems (ADP preferred) and Microsoft/Google Suite
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrates strong emotional intelligence, sound judgement, and maintains strict confidentiality in handling sensitive matters.
  • Ability to manage confidential information and exercise sound judgement
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
  • Comfortable working independently onsite.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Occasionally required to lift, move or carry items up to 20 lbs.
  • Standard office environment with occasional outdoor in varying weather conditions
  • Able to drive a side by side “Utility” vehicle (UTV)

Salary Range

$118,000 - $142,000 USD
