Systems Engineer

The Systems Engineer will be responsible for the administration, security, and continuous improvement of IT systems across cloud and on-premises infrastructure. The role oversees the acceptance and documentation of new construction and retrofit projects, ensuring technical systems are implemented, maintained, and supported to the highest standards.Success in this position requires proactive planning, responsive communication, and close collaboration with colleagues across the organization. The Systems Engineer must be able to work both independently and as part of a team, with discretion and professionalism in handling sensitive information. The highest level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information is required in addition to maintaining a high degree of professionalism. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Systems Administration 

  • Provide user onboarding, device migration and day-to-day technical support.
  • Administer and maintain core services  (e.g. Airwatch, Zoom, G-Workplace, Umbrella, Crowdstrike) with a focus on security and reliability.
  • ManageIdentity and Access Management (IAM) with Okta Single Sign-On (SSO) , including user provisioning and Life Cycle Management (LCM).
  • Perform account management, hardware configuration, and remote troubleshooting for staff. .
  • Support and optimize cloud-based applications and lead initiatives to migrate systems to cloud environments. 
  • Oversee hardware inventory , acquisition, and deployment.
  • Conduct final acceptance testing for new systems and upgrades. 
  • Ensure timely server and database  updates,patch management, and security fixes.
  • Monitor systems and network performance, responding to issues promptly.
  • Create and maintain documentation for system configurations and processes.

Audio Visual

  • Ensure reliable performance of AV systems across residential and organizational environments.
  • Manage distributed audio and conference systems (e.g. soundweb, Dante, Sonos).
  • Provide documentation and training for AV operations to ensure ease of use and continuity
  • Operate and maintain a private D-Cinema system for first-run content world-class settings.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree (BA or BS.) from accredited institution OR, equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5-10 years of experience designing, implementing, and supporting IT infrastructure.

Skills & Work Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP protocols, DNS, VLANs, and routing; ability to troubleshoot across LAN, WAN, WLAN, and cloud environments. 
  • Experience creating accurate documentation and schematics for IT and AV systems..
  • Understanding  of low-voltage circuitry and troubleshooting, including Wiegand and OSDP protocols.
  • Project leadership ability with proven independence and accountability.
  • Highly organized with strong follow-through, time management, and prioritization skills. 
  • Flexible and adaptable to non-traditional schedules. 
  • High level of discretion, confidentiality, and professionalism.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to support and collaborate effectively with others. 
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Ability to pass a background check

Salary Range

$105,000 - $125,000 USD
