Administrative Assistant

Position Summary
Gelfand, Rennert & Feldman is seeking an Administrative Assistant ideally with financial services exposure to join our team of dedicated professionals. This position is based in-office out of Encino, CA on a full-time basis. The Administrative Assistant is responsible for a variety of administrative tasks to support the operations of their office and assigned partners.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Establish oneself as a trusted point of contact with employees and business network
  • Receive incoming mail, packages, and checks, and process accordingly to the service plan for each client
  • Respond to requests to prepare outgoing mail and packages (FedEx, certified mail, messengers, etc.)
  • Process and mail checks
  • Make e-deposits
  • Maintain electronic and hard copy filing system
  • Perform coverage of reception desk, as needed
  • Other projects and duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of similar experience in a fully in-office capacity
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required
  • Associate's Degree preferred
  • Notary Public a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word and Outlook
  • The ability to work independently while being a team player
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to ensure the ability to multitask 
  • Strong interpersonal skills to create and maintain a trusting relationship with staff and clients


This is a non-exempt, overtime eligible position. The annualized base pay range for this role is expected to be between $47,840 - $54,080. Actual base pay could vary based on factors including but not limited to experience, subject matter expertise, geographic location where work will be performed, and the applicant's skill set. The base pay is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include an annual bonus and a comprehensive benefits package. Candidate information, including education and work experience, is verified upon an offer of employment. Falsification of application information may be grounds for denying employment.
