
Senior Associate, Partnership Strategy
Position Summary
As part of the Partnership Strategy team at Focus Financial Partners, you will play a vital role in supporting and driving growth for our RIA network firms in the rapidly evolving RIA sector. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with a diverse portfolio of wealth management firms and contribute to their strategic development.
This role is based in San Francisco, CA, St. Louis, MO, and New York, NY.
Primary Responsibilities
- Serve as a junior relationship manager to Focus network firms, in a team-based delivery model to support the success of firms
- Work directly with Focus firms ($500M - $100B+ in Assets Under Management) on initiatives to drive growth, improve business efficiency, and improve sustainability
- Track P&L changes across firms and highlight areas for operational efficiency and growth improvements
- Develop strategic initiatives and drive analyses to support decision making across Focus network firms
- Be a part of the most significant business transformation in the history of the RIA sector, through a unique lens at the intersection of strategy and execution for Focus network firms
Qualifications
- 4+ plus years of combined experience working in wealth management and / or consulting (ideally with experience in wealth management and/or financial services)
- Understanding and knowledge of the RIA marketplace, competitive set, economic model and internal workings of an RIA
- Experience on a client facing team with revenue and / or asset goals a plus
- Prior consulting, practice management, and / or wealth management experience a plus
- Demonstrated leadership and ability to be a self-starter
The annualized base pay range for this role is expected to be between $135,000-$150,000. Actual base pay could vary based on factors including but not limited to experience, subject matter expertise, geographic location where work will be performed, and the applicant's skill set. The base pay is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include an annual cash bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
