Position Summary

Gelfand, Rennert, & Feldman is seeking a highly organized and experienced HR Manager to support the firm’s human capital initiatives in our London office. This individual will play a key role in overseeing all aspects of the end-to-end employee lifecycle, ensuring compliance with UK employment law, and fostering a positive and engaged workplace culture. Primary Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary HR contact for UK-based employees, providing guidance on policies, procedures, and employment-related matters
  • Ensure compliance with current UK employment law and regulations, including employee relations, statutory leave, and grievance procedures
  • Advise managers and employees on HR best practices, supporting fair, consistent, and legally compliant decision-making
  • Partner with talent acquisition to assess staffing needs, develop workforce plans, and coordinate with the US-based recruiting team on UK hiring efforts
  • Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a seamless employee experience and proper documentation
  • Support performance management activities, including goal setting, feedback processes, and employee development initiatives
  • Foster employee engagement and communication, helping to strengthen company culture and address areas for improvement
  • Manage employee data and HR records with accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with data protection requirements
  • Lead or support HR projects and initiatives related to policy updates, training, and organizational effectiveness
  • Provide timely and practical solutions to employee relations issues, demonstrating sound judgment and professionalism

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree and 4+ years of Human Resources experience
  • Strong understanding of UK employment law and HR compliance requirements
  • Proven track record of HR generalist or managerial experience with a focus on operational excellence
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence and build trust at all levels of the organization
  • Demonstrated ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and HR information systems
