
Data Entry/Administrator (Fixed Term Contract)
Position Summary
We are seeking detail-oriented and proactive Data Entry / Administrators to join our financial planning operations teams in Sydney and Brisbane on a 3-month fixed-term basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for motivated individuals—such as university students on break or early-career professionals—to gain valuable experience within a dynamic financial services environment. The successful candidates will play an integral role in maintaining data accuracy, streamlining administrative processes, and supporting our broader mission of operational excellence.
This role can be located in Sydney, Australia or Brisbane, Australia.
Primary Responsibilities
- Review and validate existing client data, ensuring accuracy and completeness during migration into Xplan or other financial planning systems.
- Enter, update, and maintain client information in accordance with company policies and data integrity standards.
- Cross-check all entries to ensure data accuracy and compliance with privacy regulations.
- Support the preparation, processing, and organization of client documentation and reports.
- Maintain structured digital and physical filing systems for efficient record management.
- Assist with general administrative tasks and team support as required.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely updates and consistent data management practices.
Qualifications & Experience
- Prior experience in data entry or administrative support, ideally within a professional or financial services environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
- Familiarity with financial planning software such as Xplan is advantageous but not essential.
- No specific qualifications required—training will be provided.
This is a fixed-term position with a full-time equivalent base salary of $65,000 + superannuation. Actual base pay could vary based on factors including but not limited to experience, subject matter expertise, geographic location where work will be performed, and the applicant's skill set. The base pay is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include a meaningful annual cash opportunity and a comprehensive benefits package.
