Senior Advisor Development Manager

St. Louis, MO; Remote

Position Summary

The Senior Advisor Development Manager is a key member of the Advisor Development team, responsible for designing, facilitating, and continuously enhancing learning experiences that help advisors build the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to deliver exceptional client and advisor experiences. This role serves as a lead instructor, facilitator, and learning partner, working closely with Advisory Leadership and subject matter experts to identify development needs, create impactful training programs, and support the professional growth of advisors across the firm.

The ideal candidate brings deep advisory industry experience, a passion for developing others, and the ability to translate complex concepts into practical, actionable learning. This individual is a confident facilitator, trusted partner, and collaborative leader who is energized by helping advisors improve their effectiveness, strengthen client relationships, and maximize the value of firm resources.

Our preference is to have someone work in St. Louis 3 days/week. However, we are open to having someone work Remotely with light travel if they meet all the qualifications.

 

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Serve as a key facilitator and instructor for advisor development programs, onboarding experiences, and cohort-based learning initiatives.

  • Deliver engaging, practical training that develops advisory expertise, client relationship skills, planning discipline, technology adoption, and practice management capabilities.

  • Design, enhance, and maintain advisor development curriculum, facilitator guides, presentations, participant materials, and supporting resources.

  • Ensure learning content reflects firm philosophy, client experience standards, operating procedures, and advisor best practices.

  • Maintain training content to ensure accuracy, relevance, compliance, and alignment with organizational priorities.

  • Monitor program effectiveness, participant engagement, and learning outcomes, making continuous improvements based on feedback and business needs.

  • Partner with Advisory Leadership and cross-functional teams to identify advisor learning needs and development priorities.

  • Collaborate with internal subject matter experts to deliver timely, relevant learning opportunities and resources.

 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 5+ years’ experience in Financial Services or related profession.

  • Served as part of an Advisory team for 2+ years

  • Strong understanding of financial planning, advisory workflows, client relationship management, and team-based service models.

  • Experience supporting advisors, clients, or internal stakeholders in a platform or systems-focused role.

  • Excellent presentation, communication, and facilitation skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences.

  • Exceptional organizational, collaboration, and project management abilities.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality learning experiences.

  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment while maintaining a service-oriented mindset.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • CFP®, CPA or similar professional designation.

 

 

This position is an exempt position. The annualized base pay range for this role is expected to be between $100,000-$125,000.  Actual base pay could vary based on factors including but not limited to experience, subject matter expertise, geographic location where work will be performed, and the applicant's skill set.  The base pay is just one component of the total compensation package for employees.  Other rewards may include an annual cash bonus and a comprehensive benefits package, including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and 401(k). Please note that the job title is subject to change based on the selected candidate’s experience and education.
