The Advisory Team Associate role is an exciting opportunity to join a planning-centric team dedicated to delivering personalized wealth advice aligned with each client’s unique goals and aspirations. This role plays a key part in supporting the overall advisory experience, partnering closely with Wealth Advisors, Associate Wealth Advisors, and fellow team members. Advisory Team Associates gain meaningful hands-on experience and build a strong foundation in core financial planning skills within a collaborative, client-focused environment.

This role is based in Chicago, IL

Primary Responsibilities

• Draft financial plans for review through planning software
• Basic understanding of the core tenants to financial planning
• Assist advisory team in meeting preparation and client communications
• Resource and collaboration with other Advisory Team Associates (ATAs)
• Mastery of technology stack including custodian websites
• Ability to document notes and assign responsibilities as needed within the CRM system
• Basic understanding of portfolio components
• Complete billing review quarterly and maintain compliance with standards
• Coordinate with the client service team on service requests
• Support cross-functional projects that contribute to firm-wide initiatives
• Develop core financial planning skills
• Support the advisory experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Pursuit or completion of a Financial Planning program is a plus
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal communication skills
• Team-orientated approach
• Knowledge of financial industry, financial products, and financial planning concepts
• Clean U4

The annualized base pay range for this role is expected to be between $70,000 - 75,000.  Actual base pay could vary based on factors including but not limited to experience, subject matter expertise, geographic location where work will be performed, and the applicant's skill set.  The base pay is just one component of the total compensation package for employees.  Other rewards may include an annual cash bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
