FOLX Clinician NP/PA (per diem/hourly) - Massachusetts

What You’ll Do:
As a FOLX Clinician, you will be providing clinical care to our members (patients) through our telehealth platform–both through synchronous video visits and asynchronous messaging, lab review, referral and medication management between visits. The type of services FOLX offers are focused on the clinical needs of the LGBTQAI+ community and are inclusive of the following: Primary care, Gender affirming hormone therapy, Sexual and reproductive health, Mental/behavioral health, etc.
As a FOLX Clinician, you will be responsible for evaluating and managing patients as per the FOLX medical protocols. Clinical care of our members is the first priority, but there is regular time set aside for our clinical team to discuss case studies, attend training sessions and give feedback on protocols and processes.
What You’ll Bring:
- Active state NP or PA license in MA. Ideal candidate has multiple state NP or PA licenses to be able to practice across states upon hire. We will help support additional state license applications depending on your hours of availability
- National certification through appropriate credentialing organization
- Active Federal DEA license
- Active Controlled Substance Registration/Licensure if required in your state(s) of practice
- Master's degree or higher from a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant educational program accredited by ACEN, CCNE or ARC-PA
- Ideal but not required: 30 contact hours Continuing Education or a 15-week college level course in pharmacology within the last two to three years
- Clinical experience serving the LGBTQAI+ community
- Dedication to the FOLX mission and Informed Consent Model of Care that are rooted in empowerment, transparency, and collaboration
- Organizational and time management skills that allow for timely completion of charts and member care in a remote work environment
- Self-motivation, independence, and willingness to work in a rapidly changing environment
- Ability to learn new apps, programs, and proficiency with virtual meeting platforms
What We Offer:
- Malpractice insurance covering your clinical work with FOLX
- Coverage of all state licensing fees (and CSR/CSL fees, if applicable) for states in which you provide FOLX telehealth services
- Hourly rate: $75/hour
