What you’ll do

This is a superb opportunity if you are looking to continue using your existing legal secretarial experience to take responsibility for the progression of legal cases from start to finish and to support the team in a secretarial capacity.  It is a truly rewarding opportunity to work in a highly impactful area of law.

In this role, you’ll:

  • Be part of a team recognised as one of the leading industry specialists.
  • Offer full secretarial support to the team including file opening and accompanying maintenance procedures.
  • Assist with fee earner caseloads and day to day running of files.
  • Produce and amend precedent letters.
  • Organise conferences with Counsel and medical experts.
  • Support with financial management for each case including paying invoices.
  • Respond to queries on behalf of the lawyers.
  • Assist and support others within the team, as well as new enquiries.
  • Work to high pressure deadlines.
  • Due the nature of the environment, this role will have exposure to highly sensitive file notes.

Someone who can demonstrate a proven track record of, and passion for, providing high quality secretarial support within a legal or professional services environment. 

  • A calm, resilient and compassionate nature, along with commitment to supporting our vulnerable client matters.
  • A proven track record of providing high quality administration / secretarial support.
  • Strong Word, Excel, Case Management, PDF docs and PowerPoint skills.
  • Excellent organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • The ability to deal with highly confidential information.
  • Superb attention to detail and accuracy (verbal, written, and numerical).
  • A sensitive and tactful disposition with the ability to work on complex and at times heart wrenching cases.
  • The desire to work in a fast paced, collaborative, and friendly team.
  • A shared passion for innovation, collaboration, and achieving great things together.
