From complex structuring to cross-border administration, the role involves advising high-net-worth clients on the full lifecycle of trust-related matters. The successful candidate will help shape the future of the practice, delivering tailored legal solutions and supporting strategic growth. As a team of dedicated experts, we go beyond simply answering legal questions, we deliver strategic, commercially minded solutions. Our trust and tax lawyers offer clear, practical advice across a wide range of areas, including wealth structuring, succession planning, and trust administration.

What you’ll do

In this role, you will:

  • Advise on the creation, structuring, and administration of UK and offshore trusts
  • Support clients with complex trust reorganisations, tax planning, and compliance
  • Manage multi-jurisdictional trust and estate matters for high-net-worth individuals and families
  • Work closely with trustees, beneficiaries, and family offices across various jurisdictions
  • Navigate sensitive tax issues and provide tailored advice on trust-related disputes and regulatory obligations
  • Build long-term client relationships and contribute to the development of our private wealth offering
  • Collaborate with a high-performing team to deliver innovative, high-quality trust solutions

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone who thrives in a dynamic, client-focused environment and brings:

  • At least 5 years’ PQE with a strong focus on trusts and private wealth
  • A STEP qualification (or working towards it)
  • Experience advising on UK and international trust structures, tax planning, and succession
  • A deep understanding of trust law and its application in complex, cross-border contexts
  • A commercial approach and the ability to deliver clear, outcome-driven advice
  • A collaborative mindset and a commitment to building trusted, multi-generational client relationships

Whether advising UK residents or international families, this role requires expertise in sophisticated trust structuring and strategic planning. Our multilingual team regularly advises on all aspects of trust and tax law, including business assets, inheritance planning, and wealth preservation. We work with a diverse client base from private individuals to entrepreneurs and landowners with growing demand in the OMB and family office space.
