What you’ll do

In this role, you’ll:

  • Content planning & ideation: Lead collaborative content planning and ideation with stakeholders to produce targeted, multi-channel content that drives engagement and supports the firm’s commercial objectives.
  • Campaign delivery: Lead the planning and execution of integrated, results-driven marketing and business development campaigns, across multiple channels including web, social, email, events, and internal communications.
  • Commercial awareness: Bring strong market knowledge and sector insight to design campaigns with a competitive edge, with a strong emphasis on pipeline generation, client engagement, and measurable return on investment.
  • Project management: Confidently manage concurrent campaigns and content, ensuring smooth delivery, timely execution and alignment to agreed objectives, KPIs, and commercial outcomes.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues in the Client Development team (business development and strategic communications), other internal stakeholders, and external partners (including significant interaction with PR & media support) to ensure activity is aligned to firm strategy, sector priorities, and revenue-generating opportunities.
  • Insights & reporting: Monitor and report on content and campaign performance, analysing effectiveness and using insights to improve ROI, optimise future activity, and inform strategic decisions.
  • Budget & resource management: Manage content and campaign budgets and resources, ensuring efficient use, cost-effectiveness, and clear return on investment, including overseeing external suppliers when needed.

What we’re looking for

We’re seeking someone who thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused environment and brings:

  • Experience & expertise: Proven background in content, campaigns and marketing delivery, ideally within legal, professional services, or a similar commercial environment.
  • Content & writing: Excellent writing, editing, and content repurposing skills, with the ability to tailor messaging for different audiences and channels to support engagement and business development goals.
  • Communication & influence: Strong communicator and influencer, able to network and build trusted relationships with stakeholders at all levels, including senior lawyers and leadership teams.
  • Adaptability & delivery: Highly organised, skilled in project management, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities, while maintaining focus on outcomes and value.
  • Media & sector knowledge: Strong awareness of the news and media landscape, with a solid understanding of the legal, financial and other related UK sectors, and how these translate into client-relevant content themes.
  • Curiosity & innovation: Keen to stay on top of trends, best practices, and innovations in digital and campaign marketing, bringing new ideas to drive engagement and differentiation.
  • Attitude & teamwork: Positive, self-motivated, and adaptable, with a “can-do” attitude and a collaborative approach, and a clear focus on delivering results as part of a team.
