  • Support the development and execution of Job Hazard Analyses and Job Safety Analyses that reflect current work activities and site-specific risks.
  • Lead and participate in toolbox talks and support onboarding and site safety orientations for new workers and subcontractors.
  • Participate in incident and near-miss investigations, support root cause identification and corrective actions, and ensure lessons learned are communicated and applied in the field.
  • Track and verify required training and maintain accurate field safety documentation and inspection records.
  • Support internal and client audits and follow through on corrective actions.
  • Work with Project Managers, Superintendents, and Foremen to monitor work activities, reduce risk exposure, and improve safety practices while supporting efficient construction execution.

What You’ll Bring

  • Minimum five years of safety experience in construction environments, including work on active job sites alongside crews and supervision and involvement in field inspections, hazard identification, and incident investigations.
  • Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety standards.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with field crews and supervision, identify risks, and provide practical solutions in active, fast-paced construction environments.
  • Proficiency with basic reporting tools and safety management systems.
  • A valid driver’s license.
  • Direct exposure to utility construction, including transmission, distribution, or substations, is strongly preferred.
  • OSHA 10 or 30, First Aid/CPR, and Fall Protection training are preferred.
