As part of Foresight’s prescriber team, you:
- Work between 30 and 40 hours/week
- This position is a full-time position, with a flexible hybrid schedule of 8:30a-5p on Monday from your home office, with the remainder of the week taking place from 8:30a-5p Tuesday-Friday at our Smyrna, GA office. Includes built-in time for documentation and meetings.
- Provide initial patient evaluations, ongoing medication management, and brief supportive therapy
- Perform 60-minute intake sessions, 45 minute transfers, and 15- to 30-minute follow-ups (depending on patient acuity and need for brief supportive therapy determined by your assessment)
- Collaborating with other clinicians and professionals in an interdisciplinary approach to provide holistic care
- No on-call responsibilities

- A smaller full-time caseload with a minimum of 30 hours per week is also an option, with a salary starting at $105,000
- You'll receive an annual salary between $140,000 and $145,000 based on experience and a 40-hour weekly schedule

What We're Looking For:
- Clinical Competency: Providers must demonstrate evidence-based clinical skills, including medication management and DSM-based diagnosis, using a patient-centered approach that tailors treatment to individual needs.
- Patient Documentation: Submit all documentation (medication orders, labs, charge slips, clinical notes) within 72 hours, meeting insurance, HIPAA, and ethical care standards.
- Accessibility: Maintain schedules that ensure timely care for both new and existing patients by managing appointment availability effectively.
- Technology Proficiency: Be proficient in the EHR, telehealth platforms, and essential software like Google Suite and Dayforce for administrative tasks.
- Communication: Communicate respectfully and collaboratively with patients, leadership, billing, and support teams for coordinated care.
- Embodiment of Foresight's Philosophies of Care: Providers should integrate Foresight's core care philosophies into their practice. This includes meeting patients where they are in their mental health journey, minimizing risks associated with harmful behaviors, and delivering care in a culturally attuned, accessible, and empowering manner. Providers are expected to offer treatment in the least restrictive setting, fostering trust, collaboration, and patient autonomy, to enhance the overall effectiveness of care.
The right candidate must:
- A Master's degree from an accredited university/graduate program in psychiatric mental health nursing
- Georgia Residence; an active Georgia Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) license; active DEA license (Schedules 3-5, where applicable based on state prescribing restrictions)
- 2+ years of independent experience in psychiatry, with 1 year in an outpatient setting, with demonstrated expertise in treating both adult and pediatric populations
- Cannot be opted out of Medicare
- Have access to reliable and stable internet and be proficient with technology, including but not limited to using an EHR (Electronic Health Record) and tools, such as Zoom, Google Suite, and Dayforce.
