Role Summary:
This role offers a unique opportunity to lead impactful design work at Forge, shaping how the brand comes to life across digital, print, and in our platforms. You'll collaborate closely with marketing, content, product, research, and engineering teams, leveraging data and insights to drive meaningful customer engagement. The position combines strategic thinking with hands-on design, allowing you to work on diverse projects and refine Forge’s brand design. Location: This role requires a hybrid work schedule, with 2-3 days per week in our San Francisco, CA or New York, NY office to foster collaboration and teamwork.
Responsibilities:
- Lead impactful design initiatives: Drive high-quality design solutions and templates for a wide range of marketing programs, including display ads, social media, emails, landing pages, and sales collateral.
- Own and evolve the public website and digital assets: Define the visual design and information architecture, aligning with brand guidelines and stakeholder input to ensure an engaging and on-brand web presence.
- Establish and uphold design excellence: Create best practices and processes to deliver consistent, high-quality, and data-driven marketing materials that enhance engagement and conversion rates.
- Ensure brand consistency: Evolve Forge’s brand guidelines to maintain cohesive visual identity across all marketing touchpoints, materials and systems.
- Collaborate cross-functionally: Partner with Marketing, Product, Engineering, and Research teams to align on priorities and strategies, advancing growth-focused initiatives.
- Shape the future of design at Forge: Integrate brand and marketing design expertise into Forge Design practices, strengthening continuity, systems, and approaches across teams.
Required Qualifications:
- Expertise in design: 8+ years of experience delivering exceptional design work supporting marketing and growth initiatives across digital experiences and print media.
- Data-informed design: Proven ability to collaborate with insights/analytics teams to test, refine, and optimize creative solutions, driving measurable customer engagement, satisfaction, and conversions.
- Strong design portfolio or case studies: A portfolio showcasing exceptional visual design, with a deep understanding of typography, layout, user-centered principles, and brand perspectives across both digital and print media.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Experience partnering with Marketing, Product, Analytics, and Engineering teams to deliver impactful design solutions that drive customer engagement and business growth.
- Mastery of tools and organization: Expertise in Figma and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Atlassian tools (Jira & Confluence), with strong organizational skills to manage multiple deadlines and assignments efficiently.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Industry experience: Background in financial services, capital markets, or FinTech, with an understanding of the unique design challenges and opportunities in these sectors.
- Data visualization: Comfort with visualizing complex data and insights in clear, engaging ways to communicate key information effectively to customers and stakeholders.
- Brand systems expertise: Demonstrated experience developing scalable brand systems, templates, and design systems.
- Startup environments: Experience working in high-growth startup settings, demonstrating adaptability, innovation, and an ability to thrive in fast-paced, evolving environments.
- Holistic creative perspective: A well-rounded understanding of digital, print, and motion design to ensure cohesive storytelling across various platforms and media.
For residents of San Francisco/Bay Area, CA or New York, NY the annual salary range for this role is $185,000 - $195,000 + annual bonus. Final offers may vary from the amount listed based on geography, candidate experience and expertise, bonus, and other factors
