Who we’re looking for:

The Director of Business Development will be responsible for leading the development and continuous growth of Forge Health’s business development plan and presence across all regions. This role requires 3-4 days of travel per week and will be responsible for expanding census for all existing and future Forge Health facilities in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to effectively communicate Forge Health’s unique value proposition to a variety of audiences, with strong time management, administrative, and organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize among competing opportunities.

Please note, the ideal candidate would be located in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, or New York and will have the ability to travel across these states.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Responsible for maintaining and growing a census for all Forge Health clinical programs across all regions.
  • Work alongside payers, health systems, provider groups, and other strategic organizations to expand access to care by developing collaborative care and referral relationships.
  • Function as the liaison between Forge Health and external partners to ensure all ongoing needs are met and the client experience remains at the center.
  • Lead growth strategy within our existing communities and develop go-to-market strategies as we expand our care into new ones.
  • Continuously evaluate effectiveness of the business development performance against market constraints and changes, and revises the business development plan as appropriate
  • Represents Forge Health at conferences, trade shows, and community events
  • Work within CRM and EMR systems and alongside our Access Center for Excellence to ensure accurate documentation and legal frameworks are in place
  • Provide guidance, training, and support to a team of Community Representatives to reach the market’s goals.
  • Accountable for satisfying all job specific obligations and complying with all organization policies and procedures.

What you'll need:

  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
  • Minimum of five (5) years of job-related experience with existing accounts, preferably accounts across multiple states and within the behavioral health/addictions field
  • Working knowledge of health care environments, clinical terminology, and health information systems
  • Must have a valid state license and access to a vehicle
