The Data & Analytics Alliance Manager is responsible for developing, managing, and expanding strategic partnerships with technology vendors, cloud providers, and analytics solution partners. The focus of this role will be partnering the analytics products such as IPAAS, Data Platforms, Agentic AI, Data Governance tools and other software. This role focuses on driving revenue growth through alliance relationships through system integration opportunities or industry accelerators, creating joint go-to-market strategies, identifying new business opportunities, and positioning data analytics, business intelligence, AI, and data management solutions to enterprise customers.

The ideal candidate combines strong sales acumen, partner relationship management expertise, and a solid understanding of data analytics technologies to drive mutual success with alliance partners. The candidate will require an understanding of re-sale agreements, pricing of software by partners, as well as a strong foundation in working with software Account Executives in a collaborative fashion. This position will function in a sales role driven by these partner alliances, and success will be measured on the partnership advancement and revenue growth.

 

What You'll Work On

  • Build and maintain strategic partnership with software or cloud technology partners in the data and analytics space.
  • Develop joint go to market plans targeting industry solutions or business solutions to highlight the partner offering.
  • Serve as the liaison between the technology solutions teams at Formativ and the partner teams to create and market solutions
  • Co-ordinate webinars, white papers, and other materials to highlight the partnership
  • Work with solution architects and other leaders to create solutions for specific business challenges that align to specific partner specialties
  • Work with partners on different re-sale options to drive revenue through our sales channels
  • Present business solutions and software to clients along with solution architects
  • Partner with Formativ marketing teams to develop go to market materials with different partner solutions

 

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • 3-7+ years of experience in alliance sales, channel sales, business development, or technology sales.
  • Proven track record of managing strategic partnerships and achieving revenue goals.
  • Experience selling data analytics, cloud, AI, business intelligence, or consulting services.
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce.

  • Communicate with confidence and professionalism across partners, clients, sales teams, marketing teams, and technical stakeholders.
  • Operate as a collaborative team player who leads by example, supports others, and helps create momentum around shared partnership and revenue goals.

 

Bonus Points If You Have

  • Experience working with the following software: Collibra, Informatica, Databricks, Snowflake, DBT, Boomi, Talend, Qlik
  • Understanding of modern data platforms, analytics architectures, and AI solutions.
  • Experience selling professional services or consulting engagements. Certifications in cloud, analytics, or partner management disciplines.
  • Established network within the data and analytics industry.

Compensation

The Data & Analytics Alliance Manager will receive a competitive compensation package commensurate with experience, including base salary, variable incentive compensation, and benefits.

 

Location and Work Authorization

  • This is a remote role with potential periodic client travel.
