Pay Range: $100,000-$115,000

We're looking for a highly skilled Technical Program Manager (TPM) to lead and manage a critical, multi-million-dollar software services engagement with an Enterprise Biotech customer. This role sits at the intersection of customer success, technical delivery, and program execution, and is accountable for ensuring successful outcomes across complex software, data, and cloud infrastructure initiatives.

The Technical Program Manager will serve as the primary day-to-day owner of the customer relationship, working closely with executive stakeholders, life sciences and AI/ML specialists, and Form Bio’s engineering team. This individual will be responsible for translating customer needs into clearly defined requirements, driving alignment, managing delivery, and navigating complex environments with professionalism and focus.

Responsibilities

  • Customer Relationship & Stakeholder Management
    • Own and manage the overall relationship with Enterprise Biotech for a multi-million dollar and growing annual software services contract.
    • Build trusted relationships with executive sponsors, senior leaders, and technical stakeholders on the customer side.
    • Act as the primary escalation point for issues, risks, and conflicts, driving resolution and alignment.
    • Facilitate clear, consistent communication across business, scientific, and technical audiences.
  • Program & Project Management
    • Lead detailed project planning and execution across multiple parallel workstreams.
    • Work closely with agile software engineering teams to ensure delivery against scope, timeline, and quality expectations.
    • Manage dependencies, risks, and tradeoffs while maintaining momentum in a fast-moving environment.
    • Operate effectively under pressure, including in high-stress or contentious situations, to drive successful outcomes.
  • Requirements & Product Definition
    • Partner with customer stakeholders to elicit, document, and refine:
      • Detailed requirements
      • Acceptance criteria
      • Product and feature definitions
    • Ensure requirements are actionable, prioritized, and aligned with both customer goals and engineering constraints.
    • Lead iterative review cycles with customers to validate deliverables and ensure expectations are met or exceeded.
  • Technical & Domain Collaboration
    • Collaborate with life sciences, bioinformatics, and AI/ML specialists to understand domain-specific needs and constraints.
    • Coordinate delivery of:
      • SaaS product features and roadmaps
      • Cloud infrastructure projects (with emphasis on Google Cloud Platform)
      • Custom applications and data warehouse solutions
    • Develop sufficient technical depth to engage credibly with engineers and scientists while learning new domains on the job.
  • Delivery Accountability
    • Ensure on-time, high-quality delivery of contracted services.
    • Track progress, milestones, and outcomes against contractual commitments.
    • Proactively identify opportunities to improve delivery efficiency, collaboration, and customer satisfaction.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Proven experience managing complex, enterprise-scale software or technology services engagements.
  • Strong executive presence with experience interacting directly with senior leaders and decision-makers.
  • Exceptional project and program management skills, including experience working with agile software teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in high-stress, high-visibility, and occasionally contentious environments.
  • Experience managing SaaS feature roadmaps and coordinating cross-functional delivery.
  • Experience delivering custom software applications and data warehouse or data platform projects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Willingness and ability to work on-site in Dallas, TX and travel regularly to the customer location.
  • Must have the utmost integrity and understanding of confidentiality as positions require

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

  • Background in bioinformatics, genomics, or computational biology.
  • Experience working in or with academic research or life sciences organizations.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML workflows in scientific or research-driven environments.
