You’ll work alongside experienced HR professionals, contribute to real projects, and see firsthand how HR helps create a great employee experience and supports the success of a global business.
This opportunity is designed for a current college student who is ready to start this semester and wants meaningful, ongoing HR experience while continuing their education.

What You’ll Gain

We want this to be more than a part-time job. You’ll have the opportunity to:
  • Learn alongside an experienced HR team that will provide guidance, support, and exposure to different areas of Human Resources.
  • Contribute to meaningful work that impacts employees and the overall employee experience.
  • Build practical HR experience you can take with you into your career after graduation.
  • Gain exposure across HR, including onboarding, employee engagement, talent management, HR operations, communications, analytics, and organizational development.
  • Work on real projects, not just administrative tasks.
  • Build relationships with HR professionals, business leaders, and employees across the organization.
  • Bring your own ideas and perspective to a team that values curiosity, initiative, and continuous improvement.

What You’ll Do

Your experience will evolve as you learn, but some of the ways you may contribute include:
  • Help create a welcoming new-hire experience by supporting onboarding, orientation, and Day 1 activities.
  • Support employee communications, recognition programs, wellness initiatives, surveys, and engagement activities.
  • Assist with HR projects related to talent development, performance management, organizational development, and employee experience.
  • Help maintain employee information and support HR systems, reporting, and data accuracy.
  • Compile HR metrics and help the team identify trends and insights from workforce data.
  • Coordinate compliance training and maintain associated records.
  • Support HR research, presentations, communications, and special projects.
  • Help keep the HR team running smoothly by coordinating documents, responding to routine employee inquiries, monitoring the HR inbox, and supporting other day-to-day activities.
  • Identify opportunities to make HR processes simpler, more efficient, and more employee-friendly.

What We’re Looking For

You don’t need to be an HR expert yet. That’s what this experience is for.
We’re looking for someone who:
  • Is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, Organizational Development, Communications, or another related field.
  • Can work approximately 12–20 hours per week while attending school.
  • Is able to begin working during the current semester.
  • Lives within a reasonable commuting distance of Romeoville, IL and can regularly work from the Romeoville office as part of a hybrid schedule.
  • Is curious about people, organizations, and how businesses work.
  • Communicates professionally and enjoys working with others.
  • Is organized, dependable, and attentive to details.
  • Is comfortable learning new systems and working with tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
  • Handles confidential or sensitive information with good judgment and professionalism.
  • Enjoys asking questions, solving problems, and finding better ways of doing things.
  • Is legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.

Helpful, But Not Required

Previous HR experience is not required. We’d love to hear about experiences from school, work, volunteering, athletics, or student organizations that demonstrate your ability to collaborate, take initiative, stay organized, solve problems, or lead.
Experience with data, presentations, Excel, HR systems, applicant tracking systems, surveys, or administrative work is a plus.

Bring Your Curiosity. We’ll Help You Build the Experience.

If you’re interested in Human Resources but haven’t figured out exactly where you want your career to take you, that’s okay.
This role is designed to give you broad exposure, meaningful experience, and the opportunity to learn from people working in HR every day. You’ll have the chance to explore different areas of the profession while making a real contribution to the team.
If you’re a college student ready to learn, contribute, and start building your HR career this semester, we’d love to hear from you.
