Description 

As a Bitcoin Mining-Fleet Agent (On-Site) at Fortitude Mining, you will play a central role in deploying, maintaining, and managing mining equipment within our data center environments. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you’ll support the Mining Operations team and ensure efficient, reliable equipment performance. 

What You Will Do 

• Assist in preparing, maintaining, and deploying ASIC miners ensuring operational readiness across sites 
• Diagnose, document, and resolve hardware failures, repairs, installations, and removals 
• Lead advanced troubleshooting efforts on ASIC miners and provide insights to support research and development initiatives 
• Liaise with, and provide training and support to, staff and coworkers on ASIC operation and other issues 
• Install networked peripheral devices and networking hardware products for ASIC miners 
• Maintain accurate and proactive inventory controls of all ASIC miners, hash boards, control boards, and network switches 
• Develop and execute preventative maintenance schedules, including daily/weekly/monthly tasks such as air filter replacement and system upkeep 
• Manage logistics for shipping and receiving of mining equipment, ensuring timely and accurate coordination with the Operations team Travel to offsite data centers to conduct audits, lead troubleshooting efforts, and ensure operational excellence  

Minimum Qualifications 

• Experience in cryptocurrency or digital asset mining 
• Hands-on expertise with Bitcoin or comparable mining operations, including deployment, optimization, and troubleshooting 
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment, with the ability to self-manage physical deployment efforts and facility setup activities 
• Skilled in operating and maintaining tools, components, and peripheral accessories with minimal oversight 
• Ability to interpret and apply technical manuals, procedural documentation, and OEM guides to resolve issues independently 
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, including the ability to research and diagnose hardware challenges and provide actionable solutions 
• Effective interpersonal and relationship-building skills to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts in clear, user-friendly language 
• Detail-oriented with the ability to spot and resolve issues quickly 
• Highly self-motivated and proactive, with proven ability to prioritize and execute tasks under pressure 
• Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment 

Work Environment 

This role requires being on-site in Fairport, NY three days a week and Arcade, NY two days a week. It is primarily site-based, with approximately 80% time spent in a warehouse or operational facility. Candidates should be comfortable around loud machinery, elevated temperatures, and industrial systems. Fortitude Mining is committed to ensuring safe working conditions with adequate PPE, rigorous training, and clear safety protocols in place. 

Compensation: 
This is a full-time, salaried position with a pay range of $50,000 – $75,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. The role is designed for someone who can operate with high autonomy in a startup environment and contribute directly to the growth and efficiency of our mining operations.
