The Sales Operations Analyst will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and curating sales data across both direct and channel sales motions. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights. The ideal candidate will have a background in data analysis, experience with sales & channel metrics, and a passion for leveraging data to influence business outcomes.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Collect, analyze, and interpret sales data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
- Maintain and optimize Salesforce data quality through proactive data cleansing, deduplication, and validation processes.
- Own all channel-related data integrity in Salesforce, including partner accounts, deal registrations, influence/attribution data, channel opportunity structure, and partner contact records.
- Own Salesforce data integrity across key objects including leads, accounts, contacts, opportunities, territories, and activities.
- Maintain and validate deal registration data, SLA monitoring, and performance reporting.
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across various sales metrics and report types including Salesforce and PowerBI
- Engage with Sales & Channel leadership and stakeholders to understand their needs, challenges, and strategic goals.
- Develop and maintain Salesforce reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights to Sales, Marketing, and Finance stakeholders.
- Conduct detailed assessments of business context to inform analysis and reporting efforts.
- Translate business requirements into analytical solutions that drive decision-making.
- Partner with Business Systems to create an ideal state for data.
- Create compelling data visualizations and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations effectively.
- Simplify complex data into clear, concise, and actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as Marketing, IT, and Finance, to work towards shared initiatives and reporting/process goals.
- Present findings and recommendations to Sales leadership and other key stakeholders.
- Make continuous improvement to documentation standards and create efficiencies in reporting methodologies.
- Build an understanding of the sector that underpins analytical insights against the business’ key metrics

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 2-3 years experience in sales analysis, business intelligence, or a related role, with a combination of direct and channel data analysis.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Power BI).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce) and sales process optimization.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a team-focused mentality and proven ability to work collaboratively & cross-functionally
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and integrity.
- High-level understanding of data and experience in extracting, integrating, manipulating, and displaying data from various systems using automation where possible
- Experience using Power BI would be considered an asset.
- Experience with PRM platforms (Impartner, Allbound, etc.) is a strong asset.
