The Opportunity
We are seeking a driven, highly capable Talent Lead to own end-to-end hiring for our UK and Product roles; from internal scoping, talent attraction, candidate selection, and offer. The ideal candidate will be a strategic partner to our Senior Leadership Team, and work with Tech, Product, and Marketing functions to identify skill gaps, define role priorities, and execute end-to-end talent attraction and selection. You will combine leadership capabilities with previous experience in hiring for technical roles, and demonstrating innovation and initiative in reaching the right candidates.
Responsibilities:
- Own end-to-end hiring for our UK Tech and Product roles, from intake briefing to offer stage.
- Partner with Tech and Product leadership to understand skill gaps, define role requirements, and determine hiring priorities.
- Source creatively and proactively - going beyond job ads to map the London market, build diverse pipelines, and directly engage relevant prospects.
- Shape our processes - design and refine interview frameworks, introduce best practices, and ensure an outstanding experience for all candidates.
- Be the expert on the London tech talent market - advising the business on salary benchmarks, competitor activity, and networking opportunities.
- Own candidate experience - ensuring timely, transparent communication, and a strong employer brand at each touchpoint.
- Experiment with tools and AI to make sourcing, screening, and selection more effective.
- Track and report hiring progress to leadership, sharing insights on pipeline health, conversion rates, and time-to-hire.
- Build long-term talent pools for critical roles that we expect to need in the coming months.
What we're looking for:
- Proven experience hiring technical roles (Engineering, Product, Data, Design) in London, or other competitive markets.
- Strong direct sourcing skills - you know how to map markets, engage passive candidates, and build pipelines.
- A partner mindset, communicating effectively and working in partnership with senior stakeholders to understand and probe business needs.
- A track record of improving processes and introducing new ways of working.
- Experience using ATS platforms (we use Greenhouse), and recruitment calls (LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub sourcing).
- Passion for candidate experience, DEI, and employer branding.
- Resilience and creativity - you'll need to be resourceful, persistence, and innovative to succeed in London's tech talent market.
