Ready to make your mark? Let’s go! 🚀

The Role
Quality is how Fospha earns trust. Our customers make multi-million dollar media decisions based on what we tell them, so every release has to be right. As a Senior QA Engineer, you’ll be a driving force in raising the quality bar across our engineering organisation - not as a gatekeeper at the end of the pipeline, but as an embedded partner from planning through to production.

This role sits in our Customer Experience Layer - the part of Fospha our customers actually touch every day. You’ll be accountable for the quality of our web application code, frontend logic and UX, Spark-based application services, and the client-facing automation that ties it all together. When customers log in, run an analysis, or rely on an automated workflow, your work is what makes it dependable.

You’ll work alongside engineers, product managers, and AI agents as part of our AI-first operating model, where lean, high-autonomy teams ship fast and learn faster. You’ll design and own the automation frameworks that let us release on demand, champion testability at every level of the stack, and help us continue our journey to true CI/CD. This role reports to the Head of QA Engineering and is for someone who sees quality as a craft, not a checklist.

Where you’ll focus
You’ll be accountable for testing across the Customer Experience Layer, specifically:
• Web application code
• Frontend logic and UX
• Spark-based application services
• Client-facing automation

Key Responsibilities
• Get involved across the full Software Development Lifecycle - from initial planning and design through execution, release, and monitoring in production.
• Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks that catch bugs early and give the team confidence to ship.
• Be a visible advocate for quality, coaching developers at all levels to write high-quality, testable software.
• Help drive our journey to CI/CD, removing friction between commit and production.
• Manage the release process and enable the team to release on demand.
• Review product user interfaces for conformity to design guidelines and accessibility standards.
• Interpret and report testing results clearly, and act as an ambassador for quality at every phase of development.
• Build a strong understanding of the overall technical architecture and how each feature is implemented end-to-end.
• Evaluate and integrate open source and in-house developed tooling to keep our quality stack sharp.
• Provide guidance and hands-on support on both functional and non-functional testing.
• Champion TDD, BDD, and ATDD approaches across the engineering team.

What are we looking for?
We hire for how you think and how you ship. The QA engineers who do best here combine technical depth with the influence to lift the whole team’s standard. You should apply if you:
• Have solid experience working in an agile environment and know how to embed quality into fast-moving teams.
• Are skilled in the design of acceptance tests and bringing the right people into that conversation early.
• Bring strong coaching and mentoring instincts - you make the engineers around you better.
• Have working experience of GraphQL, REST API, Web GUI, and cross-browser testing. Tools we like: Playwright, Pytest, Vitest, Artillery.io, Applitools, BrowserStack, Axe, K6 (equivalent tools/frameworks are equally valid).
• Have solid hands-on experience with both TypeScript and Python.
• Have practical knowledge of non-functional testing - accessibility, performance, and security.
• Have a genuine passion for exploratory testing and the curiosity to find the bugs nobody scripted for.
• Bring exceptional attention to detail.
• Are enthusiastic about new technologies, with the ability to adapt and learn quickly.
• Have an awareness of spec-driven AI development and how clear specifications shape the quality of AI-assisted engineering work.
• Have the confidence and initiative to evolve ideas and pull pieces of work together into meaningful change.
• Are plugged into the testing community - recent conferences or meetups, a blog, opinions shared on social - we want to hear about it.
• Have an active interest in self-learning and growing your craft.

You don’t have to tick every box. If you’re a strong QA engineer who’s hungry to step up, or someone with a development background who has discovered they think in tests and systems, we’d still like to hear from you.

Our Values and Principles
You will be able to demonstrate examples of our core principles:
