Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:15pm
Salary
$55,000 with a $1,375 stipend/quarter if leading a class

What will you be doing?
- Ensure Exemplary Scholar Achievement
- When a gap arises, fill in as the lead/independent teacher during long-term absences or vacancies, ensuring continuity in instruction and maintaining high standards of academic excellence.
- Plan and execute grade-level instructional activities to meet the established outcomes.
- Collaborate with special education staff and the lead teacher to support scholars with IEPs and 504 plans, differentiating lessons to address varying skill levels within the group to ensure alignment of small group instruction with classroom curriculum and goals.
- Data Analysis and Informed Decision Making
- Assess individual scholar needs through various forms of assessment, observations, and collaboration with classroom teachers.
- Analyze scholar performance data to identify trends and adjust instructional strategies accordingly.
- Professional Growth & Development
- Actively engage in learning opportunities with the master or lead teacher, observing best practices in classroom management, lesson planning, and instructional delivery.
- Collaborate with the master or lead teacher to develop a personalized growth plan, focusing on areas of improvement and preparing for future certification.
- Classroom Culture
- Model how to be a contributing community member by consistently demonstration the characteristics of an FA employee with high levels of emotional intelligence and strong listening, communication, and interpersonal skills to foster a sense of belonging and high performance in the classroom
What do we require from you?
- Valid New Jersey Substitute Certification
- Teaching Experience Preferred
- Must be enrolled in a Teacher Certification Program within first 30 days of employment
- Must have a track record of measurable success and achievement.

- Semifinalist candidates will be required to provide unofficial transcripts, evidence of certification/eligibility, and 3 professional references.
- Hired candidates are responsible for the following: official transcripts, criminal clearance (fingerprinting), and medical clearance (TB/Mantoux testing).
