What will you be doing?
- Manage supplies and equipment to ensure students have access to the necessary materials and resources, while ensuring mastery of content knowledge.
- Participate in school and organization-wide family events, providing both individual and group instruction designed to meet students' needs and engage them effectively.
- Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment that fosters creativity and collaboration, modeling high emotional intelligence and strong listening, communication, and interpersonal skills to promote a sense of belonging and high performance.
- Create a structured, progressive learning experience for students of various ages and skill levels by developing and delivering standards-aligned lessons that encourage creativity and self-expression, and evaluating students' work to provide constructive feedback for improvement.
- Be a resource for an inclusive and representative curriculum and stay up-to-date on the latest educational trends through professional development opportunities like workshops and conferences.
- Be consulted on intervention and referral services and special services as needed, ensuring a strong understanding of those processes.
- Remain informed about cultural awareness and how systems impact the classroom and student learning.

Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent).
- You possess or are eligible for NJ certification in Chemistry.
- OR You have a minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.00 (if graduated after Sept 2015) or 2.75 (before Sept 2015) for NJ certification requirements.
