Commercial Lines Account Manager
Foundation Risk Partners, one of the fastest growing insurance brokerage and consulting firm in the US, is adding a Commercial Lines Account Manager to their team in Central Jersey.
Job Summary:
The Commercial Lines Account Manager Collaborates with the team to consistently deliver high-quality customer service and ensures service standards including execution, delivery and retention are achieved. Provide efficient, professional, and courteous service to clients, by phone, in writing and in person.
The role is responsible and accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and personally following policies and procedures as defined. Accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues, and ensures that actions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Oversees all aspects of policy lifecycle from inception to renewals
- Manage all P&C; including recording, auditing and maintaining account records
- Interact with clients, prospects and carrier underwriters, finance companies, colleagues and corporate finance regarding P&C account management
- Complete special projects and perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
Job Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of P&C coverage, carriers and marketplace in broker environment
- Strong marketing experience and carrier relationships
- Knowledge Agency Management Systems (AMS360) processes
- Knowledge and experience in the Health Care industry (preferred)
- Strong computer literacy; proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, Access and Outlook)
- Excellent written, oral and email communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task
- Maintains steadfast commitment to customer service
- Strong sense of accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and research skills
- Demonstrates punctual and consistent attendance
- Ability to exercise tact and discretion in handling of confidential material
- Ability to manage multiple projects, tasks and priorities to achieve desired goals
- Self-starter who takes initiative and can be effective with minimum supervision
- Team player and willingness to provide backup regarding department responsibilities
- Maintain professional appearance, a per business casual dress policy
Education & Experience:
- Associates degree or equivalent preferred
- 3-5 years experience in P&C Account Management is preferred
- Desirable experience with Health Care accounts
